Lakers dropped to 6th seed. 2 games behind #1 seed Nuggets. 1 game ahead of Blazers, 1.5 games ahead of Kings.

Dejaunte Murray is out for the season. Pau has a stress fracture. Aldridge is going to be 34. Pau is going to be 39. Gay is going to be 33. Derozan will be 30. They are an old slow team. They lost KL and Danny green. |
It's early and a lot can change with injuries and player movement, but imo:
The In group:
GSW
OKC
Denver
Should be In:
Lakers
Utah
Rockets (it looks bad, but they still have 2 All-Stars, even if one is declining)
The rest for 2 spots:
Blazers
Pelicans
Clippers
Grizzlies
Mavs
Kings
San Antonio
Minnesota
Tank:
Suns |
I'm not a believer in the Nuggets.
Especially with Harris' on and off injured status.
And with Minny's dedication to defense, they might be in the 2nd tier in place of the Jazz. |
I’m not sold on the nuggets either in terms of playoff success, list was more of who qualifies for playoffs imo. Nuggets are kind of soft, somewhat different on the road and a regular season team that will rack up a lot of wins because they can shoot and they score a lot. One and done type in the playoffs so I’m with you on that
Jazz and Twolves are similar type teams. I just like the Jazz roster construction a little better than Twolves and they are starting to pick up their home court advantage. Minnesota might have more overall talent but guys like Wiggins and KAT disappear sometimes.

Gary Harris expected to miss 3-4 weeks to rehab hip injury. Also Millsap broke his toe last night. They should drop in the standings. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Unless the Lakers have a monumental collapse there gonna finish 2nd or 3rd in the Western Conference, Denver and the Clippers will be sliding at some point, we have the best player in the league so we should take over both of them in the standings. |

Heat on a 20-2 run. Looks like they're gonna hand the Clips a L. |

At Staples Center!
You know you’re the red headed step child of LA when you get a team with 5 actual fans being louder than you at home. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

DWade and the Heat played well, impressive on back end of B2B. About time the clippers stop pulling wins out of their ass. Heat squashed that.
Edit: Heat had 8 healthy players tonight. |
