I don't like his casual dribbling style... but I get the principle of what he's trying to do. He draws a crowd and then kicks it out to the open guy.
It's far from a finished product... and it cost us the game in some ways tonight... but he's one of the few who can create his own shot. |
Let's put to bed the myth Ingram ruined the offense. The Lakers spent the first 3 or 4 minutes of the 4th bricking almost everything while Ingram was on the bench |

tough loss
lakers were the away team though, so its not like lakers had all the advantages
kings got the crowd behind them in the 4th |

I still have high hopes for Ingram... and I want to keep the core even more after this game... but BI did overdribble and turn over the ball at key points
I just hope it doesn't drive him into negative thoughts and then he goes into a slump for the next five games.
Lonzo was terrific making his terrible game seem like a distant memory. |

Not mad about this loss, because our young core played well, except for that 4th quarter, obviously. The team, as a whole, has GOT to prioritize free throw shooting, and 3pt shooting for B.I. and Zo, additionally.
These games happen, learn and move on. _________________ ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Missed FT and stupid TOs (mostly from BI) killed us tonight. Another close game down the stretch and all we run is iso. But, this IS a Luke Walton coached team.

When Lonzo and BI or Lance or whoever not named Lebron is in the game, Lonzo should be the primary ball handler and setting up the offense. It shouldn't be Lonzo either not touching the ball or having it just for a few seconds. Whatever the (bleep) this is seems to be what the stupid ass coaches are telling the team to run which is a big (bleep) mistake. |

You are trying to be funny? He is a Important piece to this team but has been with his ill mother for the past couple of weeks or even months, he hasn’t been active cause family is more Important then a game of basketball.

Clippers will slap the Lakers around tomorrow and take their lunch money. We are falling to border-line playoff territory after manana. |

It helped that we had Rondo who was able to control the offense; wish he was there instead of Ingram as a backup. Too many times Ingram wasted time trying to call for a screen. He's just not quick enough to beat his man off the dribble and doesn't create separation even with a pick.
And the Kuz with the three-point foul. Is there a way to track which teams foul the most on the three-point line? |

I think they just like to give the defense different looks. Not that it isn't primitive, but at least they seem to rotate the ball handling responsibility among all the wings.
Agree they should stick with Zo or Rondo for key possessions.
Both would have been doing that though if Rondo wasn't hurt and Zo didn't have cramps. |

Magic
Spurs 3x
Wizards
Memphis
Kings
That’s 7.
Take out a lucky win vs. the Hawks...that’s still 6 terrible losses. They could look back in April and wonder how they missed...blown big 4th quarter leads and embarrassing free throw shooting. |
