because if that "hot" hand becomes cold then Walton has no one to turn to. at least this way, he can put back the "hot" hand and hope can turn the tide, and taking all the credit for it. |
Beasley has been out of the rotation a lot recently so that he could care for his dying mother in her last few weeks of life. I thought the Lakers showed some class in giving him the space to do so. Previously, Beaz did not look good to start the season but it's obvious from last night's game he's ready for quality minutes now.
Problem is, when LeBron is in the game, Kuzma, Ingram and Hart need time as well. I will criticize Luke for the previous game where he unveiled the twin tower disaster lineup. Beasley playing good could have turned the tide, instead we gave them the game with a poorly advised gamble. If the bump to his knee is not a big deal, I'd hope we see a lot more Beaz now. |

watching Beasley on offense and then watch Zo and Ingram, what a huge difference, looks like race car driver comparing to (insert your typical stereotyping bad drivers) |

Yeah I gotta deal with a bunch of the latter type of drivers in a few minutes.
I'm curious to see where Beasley fits in minute-wise when Lebron returns. I'd think a second string with Rondo, Hart and this version of Beasley on it could be interesting to watch. |

Beez is a bucket go-getter. What we saw last night, he was doing that on the Knicks last year. Good to see vintage 17-18' Beez. Hope to see a lot more of that. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

he didnt play much/at all early on, then he played himself into the rotation with some quality minutes when Lance was struggling, then when he was already balling for us he was given free time to be with his mother, so i expected him to pick right up from it when hes back, and after he shakes off the rust. he did just that. will be valuable for us this season and hopefully next season as well _________________ 48 49 50 52 53 54 72 80 82

He's stringing some good games together lately. I hope Luke doesn't burry him deep in the bench again. Would save us another quarter suffering through a twin towers line up of McGee/Zu. |

Maybe he can be the backup 4 that we've been missing all year? |

Beasley killed it last year. It’s on Walton for not playing him. He’s a flat out scorer |

He's been away from the team due to his mother's illness.
We'll finally get to see how the team plans on utilizing him. Hopefully more. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

He should have been. I never liked the Rondo, KCP, Lance and Hart at the PF line-up. I like Lance but unless the other team goes small it should be Beez at the back up PF spot, Hart at SF and Lance sits. |

Same thoughts here. I like seeing Josh Hart play, but not at PF. He can play 2 or 3, but it's stupid to make him play 4. Beaz on the other hand fits nicely there.
Rondo/KCP/Hart/Beasley/Choose a center for second squad minutes, I think it's a good second squad now that Beasley is back and playing well.
Lance is odd man out, number 11. Just like the volume setting on his air amp that sits beside his air guitar. |

Rondo-KCP-Hart-Beaz-Zu (McGee-Chandler are starter package) or small ball
Rondo-KCP-Hart-Svi-Beaz... spread the floor and let Rondo play puppet master with the ball, rain them 3s |

He is a proven veteran NBA player that could be huge down the stretch of this season.
Much props to the Lakers organization for the typically super classy way they enabled him to spend time with his dying mother despite it being during the season. A lot of things are way more important than basketball and the Lakers organization has always gotten that.
My guess is Beas knows that and is going to ball his ass off for us from here. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Give this man more minutes!!
He plays poised controlled and makes the correct reads most of the time. He’s a gem for us in the half court |
