32 points in 28 minutes last 2 games....He needs steady minutes, it's been the story of his career, hopefully he will get a good 15 plus minutes per game .... |

His game is similar to Byron Scott during the showtime era, Scott was a offensive spark every game and Beasley can provide that on a contender. |

Think about all the recent Laker 4th quarter collapses - if Luke had played Beasley probably would have won have those games... _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

It does help that Rondo/Lebron are out, so there's more minutes to go around. Hope it continues. It does mean that Lance's minutes get affected. |

Beaz has a nice soft touch around the rim. BI and Zo should ask him for advice on how to finish around the basket. |

im fine with reducing Lances role. get him in for a couple of minutes, see if hes got it going that night, if yes, play him longer, if no, we got enough depth even without him _________________ 48 49 50 52 53 54 72 80 82

Always been able to score at ease... But it's always been his motor and work ethic that's holding him down. |

Beasley is like Lance, he has a positive affect in 5-10 Laker wins a year. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

Beasley is a better player than Lance. The ball doesn't stick with him as much, and he's just a more efficient scorer. And I say this recognizing the fact that Lance has actually played OK for us. Better than I thought he would, to be honest. |

Beasley and rondo are playoff pieces for us imo. We want them fresh for the real season and we want the advantage of the opposing team not having a gameplay ready for them.
They can play the game at a high level...the lakers (lebron) need the young players to develop right now. That’s what the regular season is all about imo. When the playoffs come around and the game slows down to PnR switches and iso’s, that’s where Beas is gonna shine cause that’s his game.
Wouldn’t be surprised if we signed Carmelo as well tbh for the same reason
I expect a lineup of
Rondo
Kuzma
Lebron
Beasley
Melo
To be a serious problem “death lineup”.l to close games.
Btw anyone getting angry at the lakers for letting Ingram iso isn’t seeing the bigger picture. We’re going to be glad he got his game down by the time the playoffs come around. U can easily switch melo for Ingram...I say the lakers pickup melo if Ingram hasn’t figured out how to take advantage of switches and make teams pay by then. |

He is the instant ramen on this team.
Satiates enough, but not something you can have every meal.
I actually liked the Beez signing much more than Lance. I think his mother's health really affected the beginning of the year so I'm looking forward to his contributions now that he's fully back. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

yup, looks like Beasley had a lot in his mind during the beginning of season due to family illness. He's playing like last year. We might have the best 2nd unit come playoff time with Rondo/Lance/Beas |

Walton is probably still stuck part way in last year when the goal was to develop the young core.
When Lebron, Rondo, Lance, McGee, KCP, and Chandler came aboard it is now a win now team. It is a 3 to 4 year window.
So Luke has to change his ways and play to win.
It probably means using the veterans more. A lot more.
Perhaps another coach is needed who can use the Lakers squad to better advantage. Or at least a shooting coach. |

There were a lot of skeptics when we signed Beasley. I've always liked him and thought he would be important specially if we suffered injuries like now. I hope he continues to be part of the rotation. The second unit should be:
Rondo
Hart
KCP
Beaz
Chandler or Zu.
Lance should play if the opposition line-up favors small ball. |

i can only dream Ingram has the mid-low post moves, and finishing ability around the rim Beasley has. |

Beasley wasn’t available for many of them. Now that he is we can take advantage of his bench offense. I was happy when we signed him and McGee and now both are paying off. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
