I just know of this because it's made by the lead singer of My Chemical Romance. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
It was quite good. Fairly predictable plot, but the actors really carried the show with their performances. Ellen Paige was usual talented self, but the kid who played 5 was a revelation. Robert Sheehan was channeling an American version of his Misfits character, Nathan, so he was incredibly entertaining. The guy who played the dad and the two actors who played the assassins did an incredible job too. I really hope Netflix picks it up for season 2.

Yeah, the acting was phenomenal. _________________ KOBE

It's a really, really fun watch. Just good old escapist entertainment. Great music, visually stunning and fun characters and performances. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Finished it over the weekend. It was really slow at first but things picked up in the last couple of episodes. Season 1 felt a bit derivative of the X-Men/Dark Phoenix story but the creators of the show blew away anything Fox ever did with X-Men.
Look forward to Season 2. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

Glad you took the time to post in a thread about a show you hated to tell us how much you hated it . . . _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Early in the season it felt a little like Watchmen. By the end of the season I felt like I was watching a Netflix Marvel show. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Yes, why I also checked it out. No, didn't hate it but didn't really like it. Yes, s-t-u-c-k--it--o-u-t--e-v-e-r-y--f-r-i-c-k-i-n-g--e-p-i-s-o-d-e and still didn't really like it. Yes, glad others enjoyed it. Yes, I suppose I should have something good to say or not bother with this, so I'll say the (bleep) running Volvo was a clever quirky touch.
Sometimes its about the journey and not the destination. Obviously, this was not about the destination as we ended up where we started, but the journey was about as entertaining as the drive to Sacramento on Highway 5. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo"
