wait until Davis and Lebron draw double teams, and Lebron kicking out to wide open shooters, that was the main issue with this team last season with the lack of shooters |

I agree, you know what I hate?
the damn media scolded the lakers for hauling draft picks for Davis and the clippers did more than that and there is no talk about it for a top 10 player while we got a top 5
im also frustrated at the thunder FO to allow PG to be traded for nothing all for the sake of screwing over the lakers franchise due to jealousy, these players and franchises are complete snakes, it will bite them in the ass!

yup.. jumper looks a bit different now, mainly the followthrough. after that year i think he became an average instead of elite 3pt guy, until last year. |

Welcome Green, u deserve the money. This is what I hate about LG they dwell too much on negativity when the hate should have been focused on Kawhi team for using us like that. FO didn’t do anything wrong, kawhi just played us. FO did the next best thing, pay the best 3 and D guy available to surround AD n LBJ ( best way to build around LBJ are shooters). |

2020 is poor FA class, so I guess the FO decided to lock Danny
boy up. The fallout of staying in the hunt for KL and being played. _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team ! |

That’s because they pretty much made the trade to land Kawhi and George. It still was a grip to give up. |

TBH I actually am glad we didn't get Kawhi and begun to fill out our roster with some more players, I'm starting to like this team.
Troy Daniels / Rajon Rondo (need to resign)
Danny Green / KCP / T.H. Tucker / Z. Norvell
Lebron James /
Anthony Davis / Kyle Kuzma /
JaVale McGee / Devontae Cacok
If we resigned KCP/McGee, we definitely need Rondo back in the mix. I can see Daniels starting defensively at the point to guard opposing small quicker guards. We need his shooting in the starting lineup and LBJ can man the Point Foward spot. When LeBron goes out, Rondo could come in as the main ball handler.
With JaVale back we have a legit defensive center who can have pressure taken off of him as well as take some off of AD.
With the little cap space we have left I recommend two more major signings if possible and then go into our vet mins and one year deals.
Marcus Morris and DeMarcus Cousins should get what's left of the $$$.
Cousins could easily start next to AD and Morris would provide great Load Management for LBJ throughout the season. We have a few good defensive pieces, but I truly think we should look at a young strong/athletic player like Stanley Johnson. He's not all there offensively, but he's had some serious eye opening lock down defensive games. (LA Kid)
Quinn Cook, I think he can truly help the Lakers! TBH there are still a few players out there that can help make this squad even more formidable.
Signing players like Carmelo Anthony only makes for more intrigue and nostalgia for this team, not to mention 15pts a game from him couldn't hurt.
Overall Green was a good signing, if we offer anything less that what we did, we easily lose out and we couldn't afford that after Kawhi went to the Clippers, which IMO was always the place he wanted to go!
Our Free-Agency isn't over, but I know the Clippers are looming to try to steal everything the Lakers set their sites on. |

Green hit a game winner against the Lakers a couple of years ago... I’m super excited to have a guy who is gonna help us during crunch time. |

This!
It's unfortunate this is our consolation prize. For a few million more we could have gotten some real talent had circumstances been different and had Kawhi been upfront with us about not wishing to sign with us.
On on per production basis, Green is going to be our most overpaid player on this team.
I like the KCP signing much more, and I personally think KCP is better. |

Green is the player we wished Josh Hart could be. Great spot up shooter (when Hart was on with his shot that was huge for the team last year). He can hit threes coming off screens (not Hart’s thing, really had no one who could do that because KCP’s shot was MIA until the end of the season). Better defender (Hart thought he was better at D than he actually was, Hart was really overrated except for defending bigs). |

I'm a really big Danny Green fan. I was really hoping we'd wind up with him if Kawhi Didn't work out. He's made big shots across multiple NBA Finals. He's a good wing defender.
He's a good piece. |

Green a system player....
I have my doubts on him. Just like Crowder, who sucked with Lebron in Cleveland, wouldn't be surprised if Green did as well... |

You are contradicting yourself. You say that the Clippers overpaid compared to the Lakers, saying they overpaid for a top 10 player where the Lakers paid for a top 5 player. Then you say you are frustrated at the Thunder FO for trading PG for nothing and just to screw over the Lakers. Thunder didn’t do this to screw over the Lakers they did what they thought was best for the long term health of the Thunder. |

The Lakers traded picks AND three players. Also, AD has one year left on his contract, PG has 3. |
