If you're working out seriously, then by all means get a heart rate monitor. You can train much more efficiently with one. Here are the Polar watch/hrms on eBay under $40:

| I agree, a digital watch with a heart rate monitor is a great tool if you go running. I would stay away from the Nike models, as they are over-priced. |
