It's weird how Dwight was once one of the main faces of the league and is now some nobody who teams don't even want for the minimum. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Hold on now, let's look at this objectively. DH could be a guy off the bench who could come in and get us a few stops and maybe have an impact. Or he could be a guy who would be an insurance policy when any of our other bogs go down.....
BUT HE'S NOT AND NO F#$CKING WAY SHOULD WE EVER CONSIDER GIVING THAT BIG BABY ANOTHER CHANCE. _________________ Not a legend

After leaving Orlando his career went downhill fast.
Where I’d have to say his best season after leaving The Magic was with us. As a Laker he led the league in rebounding. An was still able to make the All Star team for what looks to be his last appearance.
Then off to Houston where he gets annihilated by Another Dame Lillard Game winning ,series clinching dagger. Then Morey signs D’antoni As HC and Dwight bolts out of there ASAP. Also remember reading stories whether real or fake that he wasn’t getting along with James Harden towards the end. Maybe Dreamshake can clarify...
Leading to major issues with his teammates in Atlanta and Charlotte.
Then this past season getting caught up with his transgender girlfriend? Basically out the season during his time with the Wizards with a buttock muscle injury.
Thank God our front office sees the light but seriously what team is gonna gamble on this dude?
Look at the difference in field goal percentage... 16% higher than AD, 18% higher than DMC in head to head matches. Also outrebounded him and doubled the number of blocks.
And that was when Boogie was healthy.
But sure, keep up the snappy one liners... because one liners win chips.
Keep him away from the Clippers.
I don't care if he's here... I just don't want him on any of our major rivals.

You say you don't care... but we know you've got your heart set on Dwight and will keep on about this until the end of the season. At least, the past tells us this. So why don't you invite him over to your place on some pretext and lock him up in your basement. That way, you can have your Dwight and keep him away from other teams too.
basketball is a game of chemistry. Amazing how great teams fall apart not for basketball reasons but chemistry issues.
I frankly don’t care what Dwight has to offer on court right now. We have 3 centers to play before him in JAv/Boogie and AD. He isn’t going to be happy and then that chemistry issue happens again. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

You do realize this link shows that when they play against each other, McGee's teams have won all their matches against Dwight's teams from 2013 up until today...?

I would let him go to the Clippers. If they wanna use a roster spot on him, that's better for us. He's not the same Dwight, doesn't have the same pep in his step, doesn't play the same defense or offense, injuries have hindered him, he has been unable to stay on the court, etc. I don't see Jerry West advising the clippers to sign him though.

To sign a player to only to keep him from other teams and then trade him off somewhere else is dishonest and a bad look. I don’t even understand why this is even being discussed. It frankly shows little to no understanding about how business ethics works. _________________ Formerly OC Lakerfan

You mean the way we encouraged a player to quit on his team and essentially boycott a season so he could force his way here?
Please... let's not go there.
And in response to 1947's earlier comment... sure, I'll tenaciously argue a point but I truly don't care if we get Dwight... I'm happy if he goes back to Atlanta where the team will be good but not dangerous.
It amazes me how pressed people get about him.
Strategy... nothing more.
I did want to give Boogie a chance though... Dwight, I don't care other than making sure he's not a Clipper.

Again you are missing the point. Using career cumulative stats makes no sense bc of course Dwight was amazing 10 years ago. But his chemistry impact is a no go. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

Not even remotely the same. There you go with your ridiculous comparisons.
He has issues wherever he goes. That is well documented and undeniable. He’s not worth the headache or he would be on a team already. Period. _________________ Formerly OC Lakerfan

Yinoma you are just as stubborn as I am once you get your mind set on an idea. You didn't want Boogie either... you ridiculed me for it... I'm glad you've given him a chance again.
I agree he can be a chemistry killer.
I also realize I'm probably overreacting.
But I love the edge we have at the center position.
I'm scared of what Kawhi and PG will do to our wings... I want Iggy first.
But if we don't get him... at least we have the center edge.
We need that edge at all costs.
Maybe 80% chance Dwight does nothing for the Clippers... but what if he does?
Check my posts on Boogie pre injury. I was ok with signing him as a FA.
I didn’t want him last year bc of his Achilles injury. Of course 1.5 years post injury at 3.5m in a one year deal I’m all for it.
You have to be intellectually flexible. Clips could sign him right now but likely won’t bc they know he’s a chemistry killer. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
