And that's a bad decision by Turner. Get the out at first base. Outs are precious. Too close (obviously) to go to second there. Since it would be the second out, gotta get the sure out there. |

In fairness here, he's allowed 2 very soft infield hits. But now he's in the soup. |

Stays with the cutter and he gets the strikeout again. Wow. What an inning. |

What a weird inning. I thought Jansen was going to blow a save for the 7th time there. |

Jansen is awful. His cutters don't cut anymore so he's basically throwing low 90s fastballs out there. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good |

I didn't realize that all teams in the MLB this weekend are basically wearing the same uniforms. Whites for the home team and blacks for the road team. If this was supposed to be a marketing exercise it was a disaster. |

Lost in the clutter is another good outing from Gonsolin. He may not have electric stuff but he can pitch. |

He seems to be more ready than May. |

He's 25 and May is 21, so there's that but they are 2 different kind of pitchers. Right now Gonsolin is doing a nice job. |

Lots of Yankee fans at these games. Nice to see them whine about the end of the game last night. |
