His advanced numbers with LBJ are atrocious. Like LBJ is the advanced statician's wet dream and somehow they managed a net negative number. Newsflash, it wasn't LBJ. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I think we've gotta face facts.
Lebron needs to come off the bench.

He better not start or Vogel is gonna look terrible _________________ The Gospel in a nutshell: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Doubt if Rondo will start because of his fit with Lebron. Lebron needs a shooter not a playmaker at PG. And a PG that can play defense.
Avery Bradley can both play defense and bring the ball up. Would be a good fit. So would Caruso but would go with Avery first due to experience.
Then Caruso for he can play defense also. Then maybe Rondo or Cook.
Rondo would play with the second unit in situations where a playmaker is needed.
In a recent interview with Lakers.com, Vogel spoke highly of his two young point guards.
Our young guys – Caruso and Quinn Cook – have shown me a lot. I feel good about throwing those guys in at any point.
They could be competing for some big roles for our team.

Cook is the best fit on offense. He shoots well, Can take a few dribbles and shoot. He can come off screens and shoot. Basically, he's a shooting point guard which is what we need. On the other side, defensively, I don't know if he stands a chance defending opposing starting point guards. Caruso is probably better equipped in that department. Caruso can also do some playmaking and real PG play in screen/rolls.
Rondo should step in when Lebron rests. Take over the playmaking. He is walking assist. He will find the open man. He is gifted in passing and is a floor general. He did not fit in last year's team, but he fit in well in New Orleans team two years ago, which AD was the best player on. I believe he came off the bench, for Holiday. His role should be same for this team.

I wonder how Avery and Caruso are looking? Would be nice to see a good defender start at the #1. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Of course Green starts lol _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. And people who would be happy in heaven if Christ were not there, will not be there."

I honestly think AC should get the 1 spot.
He’s our best overall PG, with passing, shooting and hard nosed defense.
I'd be ok with AB or Alex starting.
I think Rondo will be a nice contributor on limited minutes.
On games he's rolling, coach can leave him in longer. And by rolling, I mean the team is on a nice spurt and he's a +15 or so.
I know Rondo is bad on defense, but it's going to be interesting on how the perception changes with AD there. I know people thought of rondo's defense differently when he had KG behind him.
Rondo is a team 1st player and will do whatever it takes to win. He will do his part no matter what that may be.
IMO LBJ, AD, DG will start; the rest will eventually play itself out.
The announcer is just starting drama when there is none. The point guard position is still up for grabs Rondo Quinn Alex AB.... Anyone of them could be the starter come playoffs
I know everyone here is loving the talk about AB but when every player and coach talk about how great rondo is everyone ignores it, kinda of funny how people only hear what they want to.
