They broke the bank for Goff, Gurley, Cooks and AD (who deserves it). Obviously, a whole lot of that money should have been spent on the O Line. |
Only AD deserves it. Gurley is arguable considering he was amazing when he got it.
No way Cooks and Goff are good enough for those contracts. |

Complete domination by the 49ers....with that defense they are potentially going to the Super Bowl. |

This result was about what I expected.
It was a must win game in LA and the 49ers still dominated. Says a lot right there. |

The mustard is off the hot dog for Sean McVay. I thought he did an awful job calling plays today. First off, you come out and run it down their throats on the opening drive. So then you go away from that? Also, if you're going to insist on calling pass plays against a ferocious D-line that clearly is going to overwhelm your O-line after a short time, where are the screen passes, the quick-hitting passes, etc? There was virtually none of that. |

Rams officially suck in my book...!
No Super Bowl this year, not even one of the best teams in the National Conference, heck they are at least the third best in their own division...
No more wasting a perfectly good Sunday, only to depressed by another comedy of errors, I'll DVR their future games and FF thru the bad parts..

Guess the LA fanbase knew it since the old stadium was full of 49ers fans today.
Usually the team that loses in the Super Bowl usually doesn't do well the season afterwards. Rams are just keeping the tradition alive. |

0-9 on 3rd down conversions today.
Other than when we scored and we failed to score on 4th down at the goal line, I don't recall the Rams even getting into FG range. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

The goal line stand basically set the message for the rest of the game for the 49ers. Complete domination by their defense. |

Agreed 100%. After that early success, they began running vanilla, old school plays. Why? On that goal line stand, SF was owning the middle all day but he kept calling runs up the middle I give credit to SF and their defense. They made huge plays all day. But McVay seemed to be playing into their hands. I didn't see any creativity in the offense after the 1st quarter. |

With Todd Gurley sidelined, its not hard to figure out the Rams offense, especially when your QB is not one of the NFL's elite passers. |

Goff reminds me of a young Philip Rivers.
Except Goff has at least made it to one Super Bowl.
He doesn't do enough other things to justify his contact, I need a dual threat QB in the modern NFL unless you are Brady/Brees. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Did they bring back Jeff Fisher to coach yesterday? What an embarrassing game to be at. I wasted my Sunday. Smh _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Sorry man. As bad as it was to watch on TV, it must have really sucked being surrounded by all those red jerseys.
Let's hope we can right the ship against the Falcons and Bengals heading into the bye week. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

The NFL is a league where there is usually more parity than other sports because of the salary cap. Rams lost more than they gained in free agency, also coaches in the league eventually figure out your game plans, so its a league of constant adjustments and how well you can adapt to a constantly changing roster. |

Makes perfect sense, except there is this team in New England that has been doing the same old thing for like 17 years, successfully... _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

His point still stands though. He didn’t say perfect parity. He said more parity and it’s true.
Now is that good? I dunno. I think it depends. Doubt we would want it effectively random. |

I think that's because Belichick never really has adhered to one philosophy. He's a chameleon, literally every week. He'll throw it 50 times, run it 50 times, he's won with great defenses, poor defenses, yadda yadda yadda. I'm hoping that McVay has some adjustments up his sleeve, because it would behoove him to change some things up. This isn't the same team he's used to having, especially as it relates to the offensive line. |

Rams are now planning to place CB Aqib Talib on injured reserve due to his rib injury, per sources. Talib could return later this season. |

In other words, the Rams are in some trouble. Even against the bad Falcons, they are only 3.5 point road favorites at the moment. They have to win the next two against the Falcons and Bengals to get to 5-3 and then they can lick their wounds during the bye week. |

The injury bug is why I don't think this team will make the playoffs....its hard to replace the quality of NFL starters. |
