Not really as tomorrow is a travel day and no practice after the b2b. We survived a scare in Den and no Conley for Utah so I won't discount a rejuvenated Melo squad up there. |

True, Utah is crippled without the great Conley out there
In Denver they nearly led from wire to wire.. It got close a few times but it never really felt like the Nuggets were going to pull it off.
Not many teams can take out Denver and UTAH on a B2b while on the road.. They deserve nothing but major props for not only doing it but in a dominant fashion while also being sick. |

Crippled for sure ... without Conley shooting his 37% from the field. His 2 from 8 against the Pacers was game-changing |

2-1 is a good start, I thought we would be 1-2. Portland should be an easy win, we shall see. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I'm convinced there just aren't many teams that can matchup with us. My biggest concern would be facing the Raptors in the Finals. Even then, AD seems to be a bad matchup for Siakam. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

That wannabe rapper in Portland always saves his good games for us, so it's going to be crazy tough despite their record. CJ too. |

It’s only a quarter of the a season but right now , I would say that painted area is shut. Teams basically have to bring their 3 ball and outhustle us and a big wing to run their offense. Raptors could make a move for any dysfunctional star. They have some movable asset. Trade deadline will be busier since it’s wide open and for sure everyone has that optimism after what Raptors did . |

Clippers are a bigger concern. PG13-Kawhi-Lou is a great trio and with Beverley and Harrell they won't let up or die easily. |

They have the Logo in their side and some good trade assets and a lot of flexibility. Logo move in silence while we tend to make a lot of noise. So yeah I agree. |

I'm just not afraid of the Clippers at this point. I was more worried about them winning a championship when they first got Chris Paul and were dominating the regular season winning 60+ games. Then they proved to be the same old Clips. This new iteration hasn't even reached that Lob City level yet in my view. Maybe that will change as the season wears on but I think it will be the opposite and their novelty will gradually wear off. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Portland has historically been a place where we are cursed. We play them twice in Portland this month. I say we split that 1-1.
Rest of December:
@ Portland W
vs Minnesota W
@ Orlando W
@ Miami L
@ Atlanta W
@Indiana L
@Milkwaukee L
vs Denver W
vs Clippers W
@ Portland L
vs. Dallas W
That would make us 9-5 in December for a record of 28-8 before the new year. That would put us on pace for a 60 win season! |

Clippers and Philly. Maybe Milwaukee as well. Outside of that we matchup well with everyone else. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Only two teams scare me:
Philly with its bigs (Embiid/Horford would rough up AD).
Clips: KL/PG are tough, but I worry about our inability to stop Lou/Trez. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I think that Philly will be too, and the Mavs have shown that they an matchup with us. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Two wins ... by a combined 34 points ... while holding both opponents under 100. |

We're definitely losing both games in Portland
We shouldn't even go there.

Dallas is too young and inexperienced to provide a real challenge. Simmons is too flawed of a player to take Philadelphia seriously, they won't make it passed the 2nd round. Remember I'm talking about playoff basketball. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."
