So many barely missed shots down the stretch while they're making it rain with a hand in their face. Its one of them fate losses |

Lebron was spooked from the last missed layup. He could have muscled it in. Damn. |

We deserved to lose this game. We were lackadaisical and playing at half-speed all night. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Wish I had as much luck as the Nets tonight. They dodged bullets from LeBron and AD. Can’t ask for much better looks than that. |

Just one of those games where some of their random players were hitting stupid shots...
Sucks that we were on the brink of catching Milwaukee though. |

Low energy, careless let down game.
When they did try to increase the defensive intensity in spurts, the Nets made tough shots.
Can’t cheat the game. They weren’t ready to play tonight. |

All good, we get em next game. King, what the hell on that layup GOAT? Gotta clean that up before the playoffs. More games will come down to final possessions as we close out the season. Rough way to take an L. _________________ DEAR BASKETBALL |

If Lakers knew they had to win this game, they would blow the Nets out. They were just feeling themselves from the last two wins, and were taking it easy. |

This is definitely a trap game. Watch the Nets lose 6 in a row now. |

Down 104-102 Lakers chose to go for the win, not the tie.
LBJ drives the lane, draws in the D, kicks out to an open AD and...
miss.
Not atypical of what I saw this evening. Lakers missed some shots with unfriendly rims (a 3 of LBJ and AD rimmed out) and then LBJ trying to tie the game before AD's shot watched as the ball circled the drain and fell out.
I'm fine with the play call, but I felt Lakers just took many 3's /outside shots as the game wound down, and overall the game sorta felt like the Lakers were not interested in getting into another physical game by attacking the rim too much (this observation from what I saw towards end of 3rd and in 4th). In other words, a "sort of" let down game by not being as intense, eg settling for jumpers rather than working for better shots.
Just my observation. Dissappointed but not unexpected after a really emotionally charged weekend set of games. However, a loss to the midget Rockets again will frustrate....so get them Thursday! |

Caught the last 4 min. Too many 3s taken way too early. That's not our game. |
