Waiters, JR and Markieff bring vet experience and that killer instinct; something we sorely needed.
The Lakers are now deep, experienced and even more dangerous than they were before the break.

This. And that’s with the loss of Bradley

Rondo too for 6-8 weeks.

I could only catch bits and pieces and highlights, but what I saw made me think the Lakers are currently clearly the most dangerous team in the league. Did the full scrimmage imply otherwise?

Unable to watch and run meetings at the same time, thank goodness there's a thread with some thoughts/reactions on it - Very encouraging!!

Good to read Caruso finding his groove, I know he can play defense. Seems KCP played well recently when called upon as well.

JR - I'd like to watch replays of these scrimmages, curious to see Smith play with a Laker uniform on. Just perhaps he's coming over with something to prove.

Waiters - VERY encouraging to read about him consistently taking over when he needs to. Three for three on this now? With Bradley and Rondo out, this move goes from wondering how he's going to fit to brilliant real fast.

Cautiously optimistic here. A big thank you to those who could watch for sharing your thoughts on this thread.

Markieff Morris said “It’s easy to get acclimated” with this Lakers team. It’s a pretty defined system and roles are clear about playing around and supporting LeBron/AD at the center of everything.

We know it, but it’s amazing to see all the guys say the same thing. Team chemistry is honestly one of their biggest strengths.

That chemistry and experience is a deadly combination.

I know the young guys got burn, AC looked good and Smith/Waiters continue to impress. But I was so anxious throughout this game to just get over so the season could officially start back up!
