Detail the difference, swami, por favor. |
Basically, bourbon is the next step from Jack and Coke. It’s a sweet, sugary version of whiskey that people like because it takes what they see as the edge off of true whisky.
Nothing inherently wrong with bourbon. It’s just that it’s not the real thing. |
So what is American whiskey vis-a-vis bourbon? What labels? |
The distinction isn’t really about labels. The distinction that makes bourbon American is that it is made from corn as opposed to barley. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Bourbon’s major characteristics are that it has to be 51% or more corn, and that it is aged in new charred oak barrels. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Monkey Shoulder is like 30 bucks and is very reasonable for the price. |
I took you up on the Monkey Shoulder, which I'm enjoying while watching the Heat-Bucks game. Good call, Larry. |
