Not as bad as the last one. Heard it more than felt it. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Oh yes. Felt a good jolt here in Anaheim in my building, and we're on the 4th floor of a 4-story condo building. Rolled for a while after the jolt, too.
I've felt worse, to be sure, since I've lived here in Southern California all my life. But that was a pretty good one. |

Looks like a 4.8 less than a mile from South San Gabriel. |

I'm only a couple of miles away from the epicenter and that was the biggest earthquake I've felt.....and that was only a 4.7. |

Felt it South West LA. One big jolt. I braced. Haven't felt any aftershocks. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

So close, wow. For me, the two biggest I've felt were the Whittier Narrows quake in 1987 (which was a 5.9), and the 1994 Northridge quake, which was a 6.7. The Northridge quake was a lot further away but also a much larger quake, and it even had two big 6.0 aftershocks. |

Did any of your phones get an alert about the earthquake.? I got one almost instantly. Felt a slight rumble then some shaking to some more slight rumbling. _________________ KOBE |

Just found out California implemented an earthquake early warning system in the beginning of the year. Pretty cool. _________________ KOBE |

That was definitely a wakeup call considering it hit a well populated area outside of the city of LA unlike last years Ridgecrest quake. |

Were you here for the Northridge quake? That one was a doozie. _________________ KOBE |

Been thru all the earthquakes in Socal since the 80's. Northridge is 35 miles away so by the time it got to my area a lot of the energy was dispersed. I was here for the Whittier Narrows earthquake as well and felt the intensity of that quake more since its closer to me. |

Ah yeah, I got my quakes confused. I was a kid in City of Industry during the Whittier earthquake. That's the one that was the biggest for me. _________________ KOBE |

Less than a mile from the 1987 Whittier Narrows earthquake. Was a high schooler for that one. Lived less than 2 mikes from the epicenter for that one.
I’m like 7 miles away from this one now. Was worried that it could get bigger,
Like when I experienced the 1989 one. Didn’t think it would get bigger but it did. Stuff falling from the ceiling like crazy in Santa Cruz. |

It was just KL's ego dropping to the floor in the aftermath of losing to the Nuggets, then watching on TV as the Lakers demolish the team that beat them, in the conference finals. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

I didn't get any warning. How's that supposed to work? I thought it would be a cell phone and TV alert. Neither happened _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
