What’s the point of HCA now? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
I agree, there is no HCA, IF it is in a bubble. If not, you have HCA again obviously and it changes the question. _________________ Wow. Luke has gone full (bleep) on us. - DB
With the vaccine news, I sincerely doubt playoffs will be in the bubble _________________ "It was tough," Kobe Bryant said. "But when it got really tough for me, I just checked myself in."

Yeah, I highly doubt it will be needed tbh. After months of the regular season and the vaccine having success we'll see things open up more if anything.
Whether there's a bubble or not though it should be about the same outlook on the season where we still win as many games as we can while resting Bron/AD here and there on a bunch of the b2b's throughout the season.
I still see us getting a top 4 seed regardless but I think with Covid, some elite guys coming back from serious injuries, a ton of b2b's, weird off season etc. leads to more intangibles then any other off season in history that could lead to endless different scenarios unseen at this point. It's going to be a very interesting season to say the least but i'm ready for it.
load management is for the clippers _________________ Starting Lakers Dynasty6.0! NOW!!

One thing no one mentions when it comes to load managing for the upcoming season is that if we don't get the top seed, we'll likely have a tough first round opponent versus one that we can easily beat.
Imagine if we had to play the Mavs in the first round of the playoffs instead of Portland. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers

Eh, Mavs with an injured Porzingis and Doncic would have been easier than healthy Lilliard. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
Lakers gonna have no fans in their home games, maybe it's a cali thing but can also mean playoff bubble is possible again, just get into the playoff, save the strength
What's the point of high seed if there are no homecourt advantage??? Load manage as much as possible if possible. But we all know Lebron won't load manage. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024

It is a California thing. Look at the NFL, they are managing well with a limited number of fans. Except the California teams. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

True with Pfizer vaccine over 90% effective and now Russia claiming the same..I doubt a "hard" bubble will occur.
A "soft" bubble like used in baseball, still possible...but things point to perhaps a "regular" playoffs.
Probably best stragegy is watch developments. Under the assumption the vaccine will be given to the most "at risk" population (older people) early on and health care workers, we should see a major drop in deaths if given before year end (not cases since the young population will still spread it).
This will likely mean a strong chance of return to normal or something like it by playoffs.
Therefore, the Lakers should pursue high seed if that happens.

Tennessee Titans in California?
Warriors plan for 50% capacity with full rapid testing for staffs and fans so maybe it’s an LA thing, we’ll see what the clippers gon do
With COVID infections hitting record highs everyday, I think we might see another lockdown. I don't think the Pfizer vaccine will be widely distributed in time to salvage 2021 season. It would have to be bubble or very strict guidelines for fans in attendance. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024

Probably the bolded. The players are going to say hell no to a bubble format and I think Europe had another lockdown but soccer went on with no fans. EPL, La Liga, etc.

Pretty much this. I have no confidence the Warriors can pull off an arena at half capacity with the way the Covid 19 thing is happening. People should have been more careful voting, I think US went from 70k a day to 163k a day because people aren't responsible.

Opening up luxury boxes with rapid testing could bring some much needed revenue. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
