I've also spent some time in Grass Valley, which is of Cornish descent, so I've also had a few good pasties. But I'd eat those empanadas above three meals a day, seven days a week (plus their steak + chimichurri fries).

Why must we decide. It’s like the old question of blonde or brunette or red head. The answer is yes. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel
The correct answer for this group is pupusas. So-so tamales predominate but great tamales would be a solid runnerup. Empanada has to be perfect but dough to filling (meat/veggie) ratio often too high over the years for me. Dough needs to be light not heavy for me.
Samosas, however, for the win. If beef, and definitely not potato. And also not huge dough fried to destruction.

Agreed. But at the end of the evening, after consuming all the options, it's the empanadas I'm taking home in a doggie bag. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

my favorite is tamales but havent had a very good tamale in forever. Way too bready and the filling too skimpy and dry. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi

Nothing beats a great beef tamale.

Looks like it, although I don't know if they're doing catering or special events. They used to do the lunch circuit near my office, so I'd get their food all the time -- but I haven't been to my office in nearly a year. That said, the last announcement of "here's where we're going to be today" on their Twitter feed was from February.
