A couple of observations:
1) Laker defense is legit .. thx Vogel
2) Solid game by the depleted Lakers
3) Blake and Alridge are DONE
4) Nets really have no defensive strategy
btw Andre dominated the paint

So based on the highlights, major props to KCP with some defensive minutes on KD. Obviously KD was settling for jump shots, but excellent work by KCP.
McLemore shooting in the 2nd half. Now THAT was knockdown shooting. |

Where you close enough to grasp what happened on that double ejection? |
They were talking and jawing with each other throughout the game non stop. When Dennis tried to dribble and Kyrie stood his ground - Kyrie got super pissed off at what Dennis said to the ref and when straight up in his face. At that point - DS was looking him square not backing down talking ish to his face. Kyrie could not calm down after being separated and went to reaproach him and talk more trash. Something Kyrie said clearly infuriated DS because after Kyrie got ejected DS would not stop yelling back at him and then himself got ejected.
High level - Kyrie took exception to Dennis complaint to the ref then Dennis took exception with Kyrie’s reaction and then after that they were basically cussing each other it making it very personal attacks at one another. I watched at least 10 MFer bombs in that sequence _________________ Author of James Harden and the Strip Club

Excellent. If you can beat the Nets, you can beat the Knicks and Charlotte. Then hopefully AD is back for one of the Utah games and seeding matchups vs. Dallas.
Can’t believe the leftovers won. |
They didn't just win, they demolished the Nets! |
I almost did not watch...but...I...cant...help...myself...
Had to watch, even if it meant it would be painful. So glad my curiosity finally did not get the better of me! |
Good thing you saw it for yourself.
I told you Thursday on the Miami thread that I thought we'd win the game.

Yep
The Lakers actually had a decent chance to win this game but turnovers (22) killed us.
The team put forth a good effort but were simply outmanned at the end of the day. KCP played well, Drummond too.
I hope they come out fired up against the Nets. It's going to take some lockdown defense to beat Brooklyn but I expect the Lakers to pull off the upset. |

Thanks for the insight. I can picture Lebron grinning like a Cheshire Cat through the whole sequence. |

Now that was a sweet win! A signature win during this undermanned time.
Outstanding effort and ridiculous shooting. Hope they can keep up the performances over the next couple weeks. |

Recorded the game just finished. I know teams aren’t at full strength and it’s the regular season, but man I found myself getting pumped. Awesome win! Now we probably drop one we should win in the near future. |

I did the same. Spent 2 hours waiting for what turned out to be a dissapointing meal at Cheesecake Factory. Good family bonding though w/ son and wifey. Game was on at the bar area and I did an awesome job avoiding watching it and stayed off social media. |

Just a great game from the entire squad. 🏀🙏🏀🙏🏀🙏
Locking up Andre as a Laker is a must! Hope we don’t gotta get rid of KCP and Kuz. |

Nice flex.
You deserve this, IG. |
I was basically the only 1 who thought the team will come out today with a purpose. |
I’m sure the Lakers thank you- some guy on the internet. Lol |

Boom is right. Vogel’s ability to get guys to buy in on that end is boss level bleep. |

That's what I'm hoping doesn't happen against the Knicks.
How many times have we seen this movie play out: a huge win followed by a huge letdown.
If we can win against New York and Charlotte, I'm no longer epically concerned that we'll fall down to the play-ins. |

Not bad for a couple buy out minimum contract guys
Then that other buy out guy messed around and hit 5 three's as well |
