This team is special. Just stay relatively healthy and they have a great shot at repeating. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Also great shot at the Mariners’ 116-46 season. |

Can’t believe people were saying the 2017 team might be the GOAT. If this team stays fairly healthy and players perform at least fairly close to their expectations, I think this team is better. |

^ to be fair, until this year that team was unreal. So many movie magic moments. It’s what makes the ending so heartbreaking even now. But I agree, this team is just in a league of their own. The championship confidence really put them over the top. |

Agreed. As much as I love this year’s team that 2017 was beyond magical. Lot of time left but this team has way more talent for sure. |

Definitely more talent. Betts wasn't on that 2017 team. We added Bauer, for heaven's sake. Buehler had only gotten his 9.1 inning cup of coffee late in that '17 season and didn't even pitch in the postseason. Urias hurt himself in '17 and obviously was out for the postseason. We have Treinen, Knebel, Gonzalez, and Graterol in the pen now. We didn't have Muncy in '17. The star quality atop the roster and then the depth, it's just no comparison.
It's really hard to get through the baseball postseason. There are no guarantees. But this team is loaded. My goodness, I even like Raley! The quality that the system is producing is incredible. |

This team has championship experience plus their starting rotation is better. The only thing I would worry about is that they expend all their energy chasing wins in the regular season. |

Quote: | Originally thought to be out for the weekend’s Padres series at the very least, that timeline should be extended significantly.
|
Quote: | Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Cody Bellinger has been diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his left fibula.
Manager Dave Roberts disclosed the injury on Friday ahead of their big weekend series against the San Diego Padres and said that a scan on Thursday revealed the injury.
Bellinger was eligible to come off the IL on Thursday, but that's not going to happen for some time. "It's not a day-to-day thing," said Roberts.
Earlier on Friday, Roberts said on MLB Network that Bellinger could be sidelined "at least another week or two."

They're garbage. Can hardly call it baseball |
Stupidest idea I have ever heard of, hard to believe they actually put it in place.
13-2 start for the Dodgers is amazing, they have been prone to slow starts so this year I get the impression they are not messing around. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Graterol activated, Neuse added to the roster and is starting at second base today. Vesia optioned back out. Ashton Goudeau put on waivers and claimed by the Rockies. |

Taylor hits one a mile off Snell, and it's 2-0 Dodgers in the 2nd. |

Never heard of this guy: Ashton Goudeau
Now I have to look him up.
Quote: | Goudeau has now been claimed off waivers five times in the five months since Colorado initially designated him for assignment in November.

Machado running - avoided the GIDP.
Yeah, Padres are out running us on the bases this series. |

Seager in his first little slump of the season. Tight game again. Bauer still in there, and, as usual, Snell's pitch count ratchets up so he's out. |

Bad balls and strikes calls are reaching critical mass. It's out of control. I can't believe there are actually people who still want these to be rendered as judgment calls. |
