We can win Game 5 if AD doesn't play, but it will be really difficult.
LeBron will probably need one of those vintage games where he scores something like 35 points. Schroder needs to have another strong game. But we need Drummond, Kuz, KCP (if he plays) and Kieff to step up offensively.
We need to play even faster than usual without AD, and when we don't have anything, run our offense efficiently so that we don't have to take low % 3s with the shot clock running down, which leads to fast breaks for Phoenix.
More than anything else, LeBron needs to convince his teammates that they will win these next two games no matter who's able to play. If we win Game 5 we're in good shape moving forward. Don't let this get to a Game 7. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers

Getting KCP back for Game 5 would be a huge boost both on the court and emotionally for this team. He's faced a ton of adversity and knows how to win in dark moments.

IMO Idk how serious his injury is but it just sounds he needs 5-7 days off I would rather him just sit this game out and hopefully we can win which I know we can because I mean come on its LBJ as long as he's playing theres always a good chance to win _________________

I expect LBJ to step up, but it's not going to matter if our other players don't get out of their shooting slump....our outside shooting has miserable and unfortunately it's not just one player it's like everyone we would typically rely on to hit the open shot KCP, AC, Kuzma....2 of those three (assuming KCP plays) need to have a decent shoorting night....I mean we are in the high 20's low 30's it seems on most nights in this series.....horrific
We need guys like Schroeder and Drummond to step up. Lebron will be Lebron he will produce, it's going to come down to other guys making shots.
Have to make sure we don't get destroyed in the CP3 pick and roll and get back on D with him pushing the pace. Slow the tempo, make it a grind out game.
If I told you a year ago in March 2020 we would have won a ring, and the next season we are tied 2-2 despite being injured and a 7th seed, everyone would have said I’ll take it. From the perspective this game should be treated as house money. The team needs to let it fly and give themselves a chance in the fourth to win the game. If they do that, that’s all you can ask for.
IF AD is going to be healthy by game 6, I would give ball to LBJ and surround him with shooters. Try hard for 1 -2 quarters, If not working, rest LBJ and take the L.
No point in making him work too hard for a L. take the L and get game 6 and 7
The mentality needs to be to get the game within 6 points by the 6minute mark of the 4th quarter. If they do that, cp3 and the suns can definitely choke the game away.
That Wes - AC - DS - LBJ - Gasol lineup needs to play lion share. Pulls Ayton out of the paint and gives Lebron all the room to move downhill. _________________ Author of James Harden and the Strip Club

Where is this confidence of the "Suns choking the game away" coming from?
They have one of the best closers on the game in Paul and have been repeatedly hitting big shots in pressure situations.
Lakers are a team loaded with veteran play-off experience. There is no replacement for Davis for one game or for the rest of the season. But they know what needs to be done.
Playoff intensity, focus and execution is needed from the tip off to the final horn. So far this season they Lakers have been inconsistent in locking in all three facets for an entire game.
Now would be a really good time to do so. Lets Go Lakers!
