Im rooting for the Bucks as well, but let’s not act like he’s Pat Bev dirty.
He tried to dislocate LeBrons shoulder... He is dirty af.
Yeah, he's extremely dirty and has been that way since at least college.. I still remember a game which is in the video below this where he super blatantly punched a dude in the nuts and proceeded to consistently keep doing this off and on in his entire NBA career. Not to mention some of the worst flops i've ever seen like his infamous flopicoptor which is probably the single worst flop i've ever seen. Not sure how any general NBA fans that have been watching him his entire career could like him honestly. Unless he's on your team he's shady asf on both ends and what makes it most frustrating to me is that he's clearly a great player without it all much like Harden yet they still flop nonstop.
Slightly NSFW (Saddest thing is that there are at minimum 2-3 more I can remember that aren't even in the vid as well)
Only two players who have lost three 7-game playoff series leading 2-0:
- Chris Paul
- Blake Griffin

Lol, I said it last round that the only things stronger than the clippers curse would possibly be the CP3 and the Doc Rivers curse. So far they're doing a good job to solidify that

the clipper curse is more than losing. Its literally altering guys careers from a physical stand point.

@vlf @rafael_nadal,
Any worries in clipper nation about Kawhi possibly leaving this summer?
I don’t think so, he has what he wanted. He is playing at home and has his own team, I don’t see him being interested in leaving home or joining someone else’s team. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Yea. Seems like the place to be for him.
We're not hearing much panic regarding Kawhi's ACL, so maybe he extends. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!!

I'm hoping that Kawhi makes Ballmer give him the whole $245,000,000.00 enchilada. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

This would instantly be my favorite non Laker off season move if that happened.. Do it Ballmer! Do it!

He is pissed at your medical staff tho. So you never know.

He's been basically copying and pasting that same answer since they were still in the Playoffs. If I know one thing, not a single one of us on this board have a true clue to wtf is going on in Kawhi's head. If there is any grudge or doubt in his mind and more importantly if a situation arises where he can go back to being that elite closer which he played while winning both rings then I see him leaving the Clips with ease. He has zero loyalty or care imo if a better situation arises for him and that's one of the few things I actually really respect about Kawhi which also makes him probably more unpredictable then any superstar I can think of.
Another thing is, I don't think he wants his "own team" he just probably doesn't want to be over shadowed by the few huge superstars like Lebron. The Spurs and Raptors were nowhere close to "his teams". He provided nearly zero leadership for either from all accounts I have heard and seen while watching.

He's still the top dog on that team and he was the top dog in Toronto. He would not have been that on the Lakers for sure.

Agreed… I will never root for CP3 to win a title. He is so dirty and always has been!
And LeBron is one of his best friends. Imagine you doing that to one of your best friends in a pickup game. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
Clips will offer him the biggest max possible. But I would really consider trading him thereafter too.
That team with PG13 is good and if you can get another star back for Kawhi, even better.
I'm not seeing them getting a huge return in trade. Someone will take the contract (it's just money), but they'd like to get someone who can play:
- degenerative quad
- missed 2, 24, 16, 18, 10, 8, 73, 22, 15 & 20 regular season games
- likely to miss 82 games this season
- coming back from a torn ACL
It's one thing to commit almost a quarter of a billion dollars in salary to him - it's another thing to also give up an asset haul for him, especially when he is coming off of a potential career ending injury. I doubt that his contract will be insurable. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

They should contact the Lakers about a trade for DS and say .. Trez+McKinnie at the trade-deadline.

If the Clippers re-sign Kawhi at the biggest max possible only to trade him shortly thereafter, what kind of a message would that send to the rest of the league about how that team treats its stars?
I could see that dissuading other stars from wanting to play for the Clippers.

Didn't they do something similar with Blake Griffin? I'm sure the Celtics' rep is still hurting from the Isiah Thomas thing.
