I think the Lakers saw enough last year to know Dwight was the better fit. Drummond isn’t ready to be a role player yet. So they did the Ariza/Artest trade. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.

I like all 3 of our trades so far, but 2 have gone under the radar.
LA/Philly - Dwight/Drummond
LA/Heat - Nunn/Kieff
I think we made out alright. _________________ Not familiar with the salary cap/CBA rules & how it impacts our Lakers?

Someone explain this to me— how did Drummond ever put up such ridiculous averages (17.0 ppg and 15.0 rpg) when he’s not actually a good player? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Because he has one elite skill (rebounding) and is mostly empty stats. But then again, lots of people like empty stats players like Drummond, Cousins, etc.

Drummond can play. He just didn't fit what we were trying to do. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

Agreed, he’s another one of those guys that would’ve been very valuable about 10-20 years ago. His rebounding is still top notch, but the (unfortunate) consequence of having a perimeter oriented league means that bigs like him are being phased out and forced to take on limited roles/opportunities
Drum for vet min but in all seriousness I wouldn’t mind Lakers having an extra center as ins for that price. Wonder if he would’ve accepted that to stay in LA rather than join his nemesis Joel in Philly. _________________
Drummond signing for the vet min is interesting, particularly as it isn't exactly a 'prove it' deal being stuck behind Embiid
For them, Drummond is probably the better fit, as Philly lacked good bench depth last year. Howard the better fit for us, though _________________ #18 next...
