Do you remember the episode where Buster falls asleep in the trunk of the car and he wakes up after the maid drives the car to her house in Costa Mesa and Buster thinks he's in Mexico. He befriends the "locals" and gets a job as a dishwasher in a local restaurant.
Hilarious!
Here's another great quote:
Mae 'Maebe' Funke: Do you guys know where I could get one of those gold T-shaped pendants?
Michael: That's a cross.
Mae 'Maebe' Funke: Across from where?
Steve Buscemi had some hilarious roles in a lot of Sandler's movies. The drunk bestman in Wedding Singer. The homeless guy in Big Daddy. I love that guy.
Check out 3:30 to 5:30 of this clip. "Self-taught. No lessons, thank you very much, POP!" _________________ I got a fever....and the only prescription is more cowbell.

IMO Fawlty Towers is still the best sitcom of all time, Arrested Development is near the top of that list though.
"George Sr.: I just haven't had sex in a month.
Michael: You know, you've been here two months.
George Sr.: It's hard to gauge time.
Michael: Yeah, I'll bet."
"Tobias: Oh, no, no. I’m not in the group yet. No, I’m afraid I just blue myself.
Michael: There's got to be a better way to say that."
"Tobias: Well, yes, but I’m afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, if you will, so now I’m afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.
Michael: It's just there's so many poorly chosen words in that sentence"
"Narrator: Tobias listens to a day's worth of his own words, to see what Michael was referring to...
Tobias Fünke: [on tape] ... even if it means me taking a chubby, I will suck it up.
Tobias Fünke: Nothing wrong with that.
Tobias Fünke: [on tape] Oh, I've been in the film business for a while, but I just can't seem to get one in the can.
Tobias Fünke: It's out of context.
Tobias Fünke: [on tape] I wouldn't mind kissing that man between the cheeks, so to speak.
Narrator: ...and he realized there is something distinct about the way he speaks.
Tobias Fünke: Tobias, you blowhard"
As for animated comedy sitcomes... South Park takes the cake.
I think South Park is great... however, there is no animated show that can compare to the Simpsons... what is it, 18 seasons now? The show still has the uncanny ability to make fun of society without hitting its viewers over the head with its criticism like South Park does. It's just a much more intelligent show, IMO.
