How many times are we gonna lose the same exact way? Ham needs to tell them guard the damn three when we’re up 2 in the closing seconds ffs

What was Reaves doing on that Kyrie 3... Totally sagged off him for no reason and put himself in no mans land.

We’re so bad at stopping penetration…it’s instinct at this point for our team to help on drives

I also don’t get Prince totally overplaying Luka to go middle.

I get guarding him to go one way but Prince basically gave him middle.

Maybe because AD was there? I was kind of thinking they wanted to just give Luka a contested 2, until he saw Kyrie open

Yeah I get that. Funneling middle is part of our concept.

But at least Luka work to get into the paint. Totally overplaying makes it way too easy.

Based on how DLo/AR reacted, I think ham was going to help on Luka drives and give him a midrange shot or a contested layup. Maybe a 3 for players other than Kyrie, but obviously we didn’t execute

This exact strategy has gotten us burned how many times last year. Just give them the tie…at worst we go into overtime

Both teams are pretty equal. Thought we would beat them here and lose in Dallas. Luka is the difference maker.

What made you come to this conclusion? it took a 3 from Irving just for Dallas to prevent a epic choke job against a team that started Max Christie, I want them to meet us when we’re at full strength

We lost in our building and they were better for the majority of the game.

Hard to say until we get our perimeter defenders back. Vando gave Luka hell last season, and instead of Christie…Cam would’ve been hounding Kyrie. Let’s hope we get healthy enough to actually see what the best version of ourselves looks like.

No change from DLO from last year to this year still can’t stop scoring PGs from scoring at will and his offense isn’t good enough to outweigh that

We have more talent across the board.

Kidd is a much better coach than Ham.

I don’t even want to cook Ham for Thanksgiving tomorrow.

The league has cooked him enough this year.

Sucks losing the game that way... Would have preferred them not make a come back at all. But I hope this fixes some things on how they close out games.

That lousy effort in the second quarter doomed us.
In upcoming games we need to play with more intensity and urgency in the first half.

Defense is still the key.
Hopefully the next time we play the Mavs, Vando, Gabe and Cam are all healthy. Their defensive chops would have made a big difference for the Lakers.

I get it but we had our primary players. If we are only going to judge this team when everyone is healthy then we will have a season of excuses if we don’t win it all. Bron and AD are the healthiest they will be all season.

We are a 42-45 win team. I think the mavs are in that range too.

Lose to the good teams and beat the bad or injured teams. We need to rebuild this team or stay in Average Purgatory. Because what we have won’t win a championship. We are just spending extra money.

Scheduling is also a factor, b2b.

IMHO that's a better argument in march. Not November. this is as fresh as our 2 main guys will be.

Salt on wound

Daniel Starkand: NBA L2M report says Richaun Holmes should have been called for defensive 3 seconds when he came up with the big steal on LeBron’s lob to AD when the Lakers were down one in the final seconds. – via Twitter

This game was like everything that is wrong with this particular team except for respectable 3 point shooting for this particular game.

But otherwise yeah, Day to Davis can’t perform in B2Bs, might as well start sitting him out in the 2nd of B2B if he’s going to continue this trend. Craptastic FT shooting as always.

Anyone wanna help 39 year old LeGrandpa? (bleep) is embarrassing.

Yes and no. 6 games in 9 nights is still 6 games in 9 nights with high minutes and workload.

Imagine if that technical foul costs us the game.

Another technical foul for "hanging on the rim," this time on LeBron. It's a stupid rule the NBA needs to get rid of.

You and I both posted in the wrong thread.
