Did you feel the quake? It was a roller here in LA for about 5 seconds. LINK

I was on the 4th floor of a building in Norwalk and it felt longer than 5 seconds.

I imagine being on the 4th floor of a building during an earthquake would be harrowing. Did you ever feel the building was going to collapse?

It wasn't strong enough for me to feel like it was going to collapse but I kept thinking if it was gonna get more intense then yeah this building can come down.

It wasn't strong enough for me to feel like it was going to collapse but I kept thinking if it was gonna get more intense then yeah this building can come down.


Often times the frequency of the building and of the subsurface affects how the building rides out an earthquake. Similar frequencies typically result in less damage. I felt it very strongly, I was on a conference call with co workers around SoCal, some felt it and some didn’t.

Yeah. The building makes it seem a lot bigger than it is. Talked to some people on the first floor and they didn't feel it as much.
