I went ahead and looked at our schedule after the break.......and man is it brutal. Were going to need to bring every night!
The next 18 games are gonna be a ridiculous stretch
@Warriors
vs Spurs
@ Suns
@ Clippers
vs Wizards
vs Nuggets
vs Thunder
vs Kings
vs Bucks
vs TWolves
@ Kings
vs Warriors
vs Hawks
vs 76ers
vs Pacers
@ Bucks
@ Grizzlies
@ Pacers
We really need to come out of this stretch with 10-12 wins
Its going to be ver difficult, but we can do it if we maintain our recent offensive level and get a few key defensive players back. |

Good, we’ll be in post season mode early. Time to put up or shut up _________________ “The main goal for the Lakers is to win a championship. All I care about, all we care about, is to raise another banner in the rafters.“ |

New look Warriors could be interesting, Klay off the bench (35 points in his new role), as they could be our play-in opponent. |

Bright side = not a ton of travel until that Bucks game.
Bad side = Lakers have proven they can lose to anyone. 0 gimmies in that stretch |

Why would you want to finish as high as possible? I would rather finish 7th or 8th and play in the play-in than face Denver in the first round as 5th or 6th seed. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

Seriously optimistic. I doubt the Lakers can put together a consistent winning attitude to earn a 5th or 6th seed. My pessimistic side feels they are more likely to be nervously battling just to get into the play-in the final week.
Hoping they prove me wrong. But inconsistency has been the identity all season long.
Also with approximately 28 games left I expect a lot of shuffling in the overall seeding by game 82. The top four, the middle four and the bottom four teams are all distinct battles within a few games of each other. |

Are you seriously afraid of Houston taking the Lakers spot in the play-in? If we couldn't even finish with better than .500 record, then I'd rather we miss the play-in than making the playoff and getting embarrassed.
Right now, I think the Lakers are all but secured a playoff spot. I'm only worried about facing Denver so early and health. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024 |

That is a tough schedule. We could very well be under 500 this stretch. |

honestly, this is why east vs. west is simply not working anymore. the west is so ridiculously stacked. there's no breathing room. |
