Seems like his shot is good enough or could be tweaked to my non-expert eyes. Also, he seems like a competitor and focused on getting better, so it wouldn't surprise me if his range and percentage improve over the next couple of years. |
I agree. Giannis can still get his shooting to average level which would make him completely unstoppable. Biggest area he needs to add is a pull up mid range J.
What I am curious to see is if AD's playmaking improves more. He is coming off by far his best assist % season |
I support point-AD. Let him run the offense when Lebron rests. _________________ Under New Management |

Assist isn’t always a measurement of your ability to pass. If someone was to measure Lonzo by this past seasons stats you’d think he was average as ball handler. _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

Still can't believe PG13 turned down LeBron in LA to go play with his bff in OKC on a team that can't advance past the first round. |

For a PG Lonzo is actually a below average ball handler.
He's a very good passer despite his below average handle. |

Giannis is a 6'11" Power Point Guard.
AD is a 6'11" Power Small Forward.
Give me the Power Point Guard skillset all day, err'day. |

If AD continues to improve his play-making (he did last year), he will be the best player in the league. |

LeBrow playing with LeBron should post even higher stats than his previous years!
Which might just allow him to win POY over LeGreek next season...! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

FYI, AD was a Guard in High School before he had that growth spurt.
Quote: | To understand what makes Davis so good, it's helpful to know this bit of trivia — Davis grew from 6'2" to 6'10" between his sophomore and senior years in high school. He went from a lightly-recruited guard who had one scholarship offer (from Cleveland State) to the best high school player in the country. link |

All around skills does not necessarily equate to a better basketball player or at least impact on the court. If you do a few things at a very elite level, you could be a better player. See: Shaq
Other than KL and playing against a team playing elite level defense in the biggest stage, Giannis was unstoppable. I see him adjusting and fixing those things in the next couple of years. It would have helped if some of his teammates hit more open shots. Looking at you Bledsoe. |

Mediocre high school guard + growth spurt to 6'10" = NBA franchise player. It would be crazy if this happened again sometime. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Are you out of your mind? AD has better handle than Giannis?
That's a complete non-starter in any discussion. |

What makes AD such a great player is his small(er)-ball skills at his size. He has elite level on ball skills for a player his size. He has the on ball skills of a small forward (and sometimes guard like skills) at 6'11". It's what makes him great.
Giannis has the on ball skills of a point guard. Literally. Giannis was able to keep his point guard skills, and can literally still play PG if called upon (initiate offense, collapse defenses and dish, always rebound and go). Although AD can do many of those things, he can't do them full time because his on-ball skills aren't as good as GA.
I'll say it again, Giannis is literally a 6-11 Power Point Guard. AD is a 6-11 Power Small Forward/Guard. |
