Someone (lionballer) just mentioned Boston. Good guess, as that 5th pick is obviously highly valued by Minne. _________________ We are stardust

I'm sure they also get some of Indiana's young talent, as well. Plus, we don't know who that 4th team is and what they'd give and get. |

Why would Boston want JO and his contract? They are rebuilding, so that doesn't make much sense. |

Well, with JO, they should win the Titanic Division easily and at least get back to the playoffs. That would be worth it while their youngs develop. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe. |

I hope this happens. Then try and package butterfingers Kwame away and get Artest if you can
Do the Cook for luther head deal.
But one thing is that Troy Hudson has to go somewhere if the wolves go ahead and trade. _________________ Australias Most fanatical Laker Fan and Merchandise collector |

Ouch! |
The good news is that the owners spoke FIRST. That tells me they've set the parameters and Mitch and McHale are on orders to make this work. That makes it a lot easier than one or the other trying to initiate. |
I know - I am just trying to be funny . If you remember, I have posted a long time ago: trade for a franchise kind of a player (Kobe, KG, Shaq) is being decided by an owner. Any kind of GM is only a tool in this respect. The same goes for significant acquisition: trust me - The Logo had to have an authorization from Dr. Buss "to go all out" after Shaq during his free agency... |

Wow .. that would be sick. If that happens .. this whole thing could wind up going from a big nightmare to a dream ending.
BTW - this is what the paper is implying right?
Indy: Bynum + LO
Minny: JO
Lakers: KG
4th team: sending some pieces to each of the teams and taking back something (not determined)
You know this is somewhat believable. It would go down as the biggest trade in NBA history though. Talk about a blockbuster ! |
Quote: | Bynum, 19, started his second NBA season with a flurry, including a memorable game again Minnesota in which he had 20 points,14 rebounds and three blocked shots last November.
|
So JO gets both LO, and Bynum to help him out next season?
"That teenager" may last the whole season next year...
So, the Pacers automatically win the east, while winning this deal, while we can only hope that somebody can add to KG and Kobe's best efforts...
If this happens I may even have to jump on the get "Hannibal Artest" to join the Lakers. At least KG doesn't have an issue with Artest, that I know of...
Oh wait! Ok, now I see it... Minny gets JO.... My bad... Ok, this seems equal... Well Minny gets (bleep), but hey... Better somebody besides us for a change... _________________ "According to ESPN.com's conference projections, the Lakers will finish 12th in the West, which prompted Bryant to tweet earlier this offseason, "12th I see.."

Buss willing to give KG an EXTENSION is HUGE.
PXH want to stay under the lux tax and they probably wanted to resign him for less after his current deal expires.
