*** LAKERS STARTING LINE-UP ***
PG: Derek Fisher - 15.5 PPG / 1.0 REB / 2.5 STL / 1.0 AST
SG: Kobe Bryant - 30.5 PPG / 9.5 REB / 3.5 STL / 4.0 AST
SF: Luke Walton - 8.5 PPG / 5.0 REB / 0.5 STL / 3.5 AST
PF: Ronny Turiaf - 7.0 PPG / 5.0 REB / 0.5 STL / 1.5 AST
C: Kwame Brown - 5.5 PPG / 8.5 REB / 1.0 STL / 1.0 AST
*** LAKERS KEY BENCH PLAYERS ***
Andrew Bynum - 9.0 PPG / 8.5 REB / 1.5 STL / 2.5 AST / 1.0 BLK
Chris Mihm - 3.0 PPG / 2.0 REB / 0.0 STL / 0.0 AST / 0.0 BLK
Vladimir Radmanovic - 19.0 PPG / 3.0 REB / 1.0 STL / 2.0 AST
Jordan Farmar - 6.0 PPG / 1.5 REB / 0.0 STL / 2.0 AST
*** MOST LIKELY ON THE IL ***
Lamar Odom, Javaris Crittenton, Brian Cook
Lamar Odom is injured but is expected to be cleared in about 10-12 days from now. JC is currently on a very short leash with PJax and the couple of mistakes he made on Friday might have cost his PT today. Brian Cook.. what can I say about this guy. He's completely useless and I really hope PJax puts him on the IL today. But for some reason, I have this bad feeling that he will probably play today. Sickens me.
*** JAZZ STARTING LINE-UP ***
PG: Deron Williams - 24.0 PPG / 3.3 REB / 1.7 STL / 10.7 AST
SG: Ronnie Brewer: 16.7 PPG / 1.3 REB / 3.0 STL / 2.3 AST
SF: Andrei Kirilenko: 9.7 PPG / 7.7 REB / 0.3 STL / 6.0 AST / 3.0 BLK
PF: Carlos Boozer: 24.7 PPG / 13.7 REB / 0.3 STL / 3.3 AST
C: Mehmet Okur: 14.7 PPG / 5.3 REB / 1.0 STL / 1.7 AST
*** JAZZ KEY BENCH PLAYERS ***
Paul Millsap - 7.7 PPG / 6.3 REB
Gordan Giricek - 6.7 PPG / 2.3 REB
Matt Harpring - 6.3 PPG / 2.0 REB
*** ADDITIONAL COMMENTS ***
Phil will most likely put all his bigs on the active roster today for interior defense. Most of the Jazz scores come from inside the arc / paint so it's important to contain the interior. Keys to win this game: grab the rebounds, decrease turnovers, challenge every shot and make the damn free-throws. We are currently ranked #27 in free-throw percentage. That's bad folks. The Jazz are currently ranked #3 in field goal percentage so that's something to watch out for. Kobe does very well against the Jazz so expect lots of points from KB24.
The key match-up for this game: Derek Fisher vs Deron Williams. These two know each other's game very well since they've played together before. It will be interesting to see how Fish handles Deron's explosiveness and play-making abilities.
*** PREDICTION ***
Look at my avatar. That's what we are going to do the Jazz tonight
Jazz: 99
Lakers: 107

If Kwame makes at least half of his FT, where does that put the Lakers? |

Sunday home games ALWAYS start at 6:30pm.
Unless its an ABC game. I remember a couple years ago against the we played the Celtics at home around 4:30pm for some reason. But Lakers at 6:30pm on Sunday's has been the norm forever. |

I think your right, but my guess is Phil continues to give the majority of the center minutes to Kwame. |

Dish Network does not make those sort of decisions. In fact, they don't really even have control over it. They're kind of a middle man, relaying a signal from the broadcaster to you.
Now, if their guide is wrong... that's something else. But, they don't delay games. _________________ 7-24-08 |
