why we didn't go to bynum over and over again last night is beyond me.

That's Phil's Bermuda Triangle at work.

They sure went to Bynum inside in the previous match up, don't know why he'd only get one post possession.

i think phil believes so blindly in his offense that he forgets that actually running sets for bynum against a small team is going to get you a win. that and his faith in kobe bryant to make good decisions with the ball. lamar should be fined for every three he takes. i don't think odom or bynum are used properly.

or Phil's belief that the triangle can only feature one player. (Jordans Tri, Shaqs Tri, Kobes Tri) The focal point of the Triangle should be interchangable.

The next time Luke exploits a mismatch when the D switches off of him and throws a small at him (eg Nash, Barbosa in the POs, T Parker, Baron, etc...) will be the first time.

In each case, that's how it's always been built.

But when it's crunch time, it's MJ or Kobe iso.

Exactly!!! One of your better defensive player on this team sitting on the bench against a quick team in GS, all the while you have one of the worst defensive players in Luke starting . Dang I hate Phil Jackson.

Get used to it. Phil doesn't give a sh!t about the regular season. He wants to prepare his players mentally for the playoffs. I think Phil figures as long as we can nab that 5th or 6th seed or better we can get out of that 1st round.

I thought we pretty much had this game, but then we started to miss a lot of free throws and for some reason our defense just collapse. But I do have a compliant about Phil, why in the world would you have an injured Kobe in the game and have Baron Davis run all over him, I was so pissed the guy should of taken Kobe out and put Ariza in the game to guard that prick Davis.

Thanks DB.

Hope Kobe's injury isn't something that will linger. He sounded pretty optimistic for the game against the Clippers. I wish we had that extra body
in Kwame. He could've gave Bynum that much needed rest and I couldn't even imagine his stats then. Would like to hear a reporter question some of Phil's coaching decisions in the press conference. Or at least have him own up to some mistakes to ease some of my frustration.

DB, what was Phil thinking when Luke was defending Harrington on multiple occasions?

I have no idea what he was thinking on a number of things. A lot of headscratchers in this one.

^Offense for defense mentality. "Well if GSW is going to score anyone, may as well have a more efficient offense.."

I'm not the biggest fan of PJ's substitution patterns.
