1) THIS STUPID TEAM CAN'T GET ANY CONSISTENT STOPS
2) KWAME BROWN BETTER NOT PLAY AGAIN
3) LUKE BETTER NOT PLAY AGAIN _________________ 1) DO WHATEVER IT TAKES
2) DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!
3) TRADE ODOM, WALTON AND VLAD
No rebounds.... No rings - Pat Riley
We have to get some players that have that kind of aggressiveness that we need. - Phil Jackson |

It's more:
1.) Kwame just plain terrible.
2.) Luke with zero contribution.
3.) Fisher in a shooting slump.
The game would've been different if those 3 guys stepped up. |

Tough loss...if it's any consolation, we were beating them by 30 all game last time, and they never made us nervous.
Also, another consolation is that the last time we lost and looked bad, the Boston game, we came back out and won 7 in a row. |

Luke has nights where he looks like he doesn't belong in the NBA OR NBDL.
Quite a few of those lately. |

If I were the Lakers, I wouldn't bring back Kwame Brown if he agreed to play for free.

Lakers to do list.......
Get Ariza not to shoot unless Grant Hill is at the rim
Get Fish out of his shooting slump
Get Walton healthy before he plays again
Get Kwame out of the rotation.....harsh but i think necessary

This CANNOT be a very satisfying win for the SUNS since we lost in single digits - We played 4 against 5 players most of the game as Kwame was PHX's 6th man, Kwame spotted the Suns w/ 15+ pts, no Bynum and Luke played like Kwame Jr. ---
I hope MK finds a stop-gap for the center position -- we need a serviceable center who can clog up the middle & take an occasional lob pass.
With Bynum tonite we would've absolutely have CRUSHED these Suns tonite. No doubt.

While i don't like the loss, the lakers finally started playing well in that fourth quarter. it was the first one where they didn't look shell-shocked and missing bynum, but looked like they would with bynum on the bench.
seriously, there was a lot of good things in that quarter.
plus the machine came in and got us close. |

Phil needs to take a page from Nellie and the Warriors playbook and play small ball. Kwame is playing worse than Mihm ... and I don't know what is up with Walton. Sit both of those guys at the very least sit Kwame.
They shelved Mihm because he wasn't ready to play, but Kwame is playing even worse than Mihm. Kwame is terrible on both ends of the court. Maybe Kwame is still bothered by some injury ... I don't know, but he is hurting the Lakers and is literally sucking the energy from this team. |

The difference is we had Bynum playing and not the worthless Kwame. |

To be honest, it got so bad I actually felt sorry for Kwame. He had to be down just from the mistakes. Add to that the boos, and it was pretty ugly. Phil really should have taken him out. He doesn't give us much, but to damage his psyche like that means we will get NOTHING from him. Bad move Phil. |

At least Odom played more assetive later on.
How many years do we give to Luke? 5? 6?
Farmar, Turiaf, Ariza, Sasha at least won't falter under pressure.
Kwame so fragile mentally. |

It helps that our bench (especially Farmar and Turiaf, too soon to judge Sasha) have stepped up with Byum out. Aside from Kobe, theyre the only ones who have.
Im not including Lamar yet because needs to do this against teams other than Phx before I can say whether or not he's steppin up. |
