If I weren't in my pathetic brokeness right now, I'd make me an Italian sangwich. Provolone, prosciutto, capicola, salami, pepperoni and all those other "-oni's". Then I'd put some dressing on it and serve it to myself with some greek olives on the side. Then I would drink the worlds greatest drink, Coca Cola.
Then I would watch Goodfellas and have a beer.
That reminds me of that joke from Analyze This
Q: What kind of sangwich ain't to fattening.
A: A half a sangwich! _________________

it's a singwich that's toasted. once you eat it, it's a sungwich.
as for sandwiches...I don't really put anything on them. just meat (turkey or roast beef) and cheese (monterrey jack or provolone). maybe a little mustard. _________________ "I define success by championships, by winning..." Kobe Bryant

Better question is "When Pajamahadeen gets off of the computer, what does he do?"

I just made and ate a sandwich. It consisted of toasted sourdough bread, smoked turkey, melted pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and some mustard. |

Yeah, WTF is a sangwich?
At first I thought that he misspelled it, but he did it more than once, so it couldn't have been a mistake. |

Wow this is almost identical to my own favorite creation. I just do a few things differently. Instead of toasting it, I just grill the sourdough right on the frying pan with butter. I also add grilled onions, and a light spread of thousand island dressing. Sometimes I'll throw in a couple slices of a dill pickle, cut lengthwise. No avocado for me.
I think I'm going to have this for dinner now that I think about it. Just bought some fresh peppered turkey yesterday . |

I like Subway. Turkey and american on white with lettuce, tomato, avacado, a little oil and vinegar, and a little bit of mustard. Or a toasted ham and american with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and a little bit of mustard.
Anything but Rye bread. |

I have a really good friend who's Mom use to make me Cuban Sandwich (her parents were from Cuba)... they are AWESOME...
If I'm making a sandwich... I go with roast beef, Santa Fe Turkey (I'll sub cracked pepper turkey if I can't get Santa Fe), provolone cheese, lettuce, oil & vinegar, salt, pepper, and oregeno on a sub roll. If available, I will top the sandwich with salt & vinegar potato chips from Cape Cod.... |

The standard sandwich is probably: Turkey, mayo, Newman's Own italian dressing, bacon bits, cucumbers, sourdough (or sourdough rye), cheese of your choice. Some tortilla chips on the side. |
