How can Biggie be the best with just 2 albums? One great and one mediocre. As far as Tupac is concerned, you cannot deny his impact on hip-hop but to say he is the best is a stretch. In a battle is he coming close to Rakim, KRS-One, Nas, or Common? I don't think so. And I could list others. Furthermore, stop all this east coast, west coast nonsense. There is rap music and hip-hop culture. All that other stuff is for companies to exploit the music and culture and sell this thug image to the suburbs. Real hip-hoppas don't recognize that junk.
New York ,New York from the Dogg Pound
(Come on now I am from the West Coast, you know I had to throw a West coast classic track in there )
Like Snoop coming to New York and kicking over the towers-Jay-Z
Rick Ross, Lil' Wayne and Outkast are not from the East Coast. Their all Southern dudes.

Geographically, you are correct... but I think most people would consider Lil Wayne, Outkast, Rick Ross southern rappers... Where as East Coast would be the Wu, ATCQ, DMX, Fiddy, etc.
For me, the way I see it, if I like you, I like you, regardless of where you are from. I love Little Brother, they are from NC, I love Common, he's from Chi-Town, I love J Dilla, he's from Detroit, I love Blu, he's from the West Coast. What do they have in common.. a certain sound that appeals to me... I could really careless where they are from.
And if you ask me, it pretty stupid to limit your listineing to music to a 'coast'... imagine all the music I would miss out on if I put 'those blinders' on...
Like Common told Cube "Now what the (bleep) I look like dissing a whole coast"

Brother Tach I feel you on that one too.
If the music is good I like it. It could be some hard core hip hop from iraq and if it is quality I will insert it in the ipod immediately.
