Got to give Lakers defense credit, they did what they had to do, and get stops. |

Finally figured out what kind of machine Sasha is: a Colt 45! _________________ "Every time he got an offensive rebound, it was deflating," Hornets coach Monty Williams said ... "I thought Bynum decided the series. He was that good."

I don't think so. They got blown out by 20 twice and went into a 0-2 deficit and still didn't deflate. |
I don't think so either, but I'd think choking up a 20-pt lead in less than 2 quarters is more demoralizing that being blown out by 20 pts...
great win \m/ |

i think we are used to this so whats the deal |
right on, just got home and couldn't wait to read the comments during the game when the Lakers were down 20. the fact that the Lakers can do the rope-a-dope for 2 1/2 quarters and not panic is typical of Phil's teams. they've showed a lot of poise and grace under fire just like Portland Game 7 in WCF. |

Let's just keep it simple. The Lakers came out flat in the beginning of the 1st and 3rd quarters and that's what did them in trailing behind in the beginning of the game and the 20 point deficit. If the Lakers come out like they should in the 1st and 3rd, the games would not even be close; around a +14 to +20 winning margin. |

Odom showed us yesterday what an unreliable J can do to your game: make you predictable at offense at times.
He didn't played smart b-ball at the offensive end yesterday.
He drives me nuts with his inconsistency. Yes I do acknowledge he did a good job on the boards and his D was good also.
But heck, this isn't a regular season game for him to put up a crappy offensive ouput! |

Geez, last night's performance by Odom has been the exception rather than the norm especially when you look at the last 40 games. He'll bounce back... |
