The *purs shot 40% for the game, shot 26 ft's to the Lakers 19 and then enjoyed a phantom goaltend and a missed call when Fisher's shot hit the rim to even ENABLE a final possession.
Yet now we will have to listen to the media know nothings ignore all that and pretend somehow it was rigged FOR the Lakers. Unbelieveable. |

You'll regret that statement, like so many dozens of game day posts before. |

The Lakers need to come out and KILL it the next game. I don't expect them to get any close calls.
They need to leave no doubt. _________________ Build around team players, not ISO players. |

2 Games of bad officiating sucks, but I guess we will have to deal with it _________________ LAkers 4 Life- "I think the refs are still calling fouls on the Lakers even during the press conference." |

Kobe got lucky tonight..perhaps it's redemption time.
I hope he wouldn't make another bonehead play like that ever. It might cost us a series. |

The Lakers didn't play well in the final minute. Pau's two missed free throws almost killed us. Spurs fans will whine about that last play, but you know Manu's last 3 point shot wasn't a 3 at all. Both of his feet were on the line.....this was the worst officiated game all series. |

There you go, Lakers get the split and have a chance to close out the series on Thursday back in LA. It was quite a game by the Lakers. Overall, they did a very good job on both ends of the floor but still made there own share of stupid mistakes. Why oh why Kobe decided to drive for a layup with 18 seconds left on the shot clock in the final seconds of the game is beyond my knowledge. That really had me screaming at the top of my lungs. It almost cost us the game.
The final Spurs play was very scary. With 2.1 seconds left, the Spurs were very capable of winning the game or at least sending it to overtime. I agree completely with all the analysts, it was a good no call. It was a foul but it was a foul on the floor at most. Yeah, if Barry would have jumped into Fisher, that would've been an automatic shooting foul and three at the line. Barry shied away from the contact and that was all she wrote.
Really though, it should have never come down to that situation. That so called "air ball" by Fish near the end, actually touched the rim. It barely touched it but touched it none the least. That should have put the Spurs into a situation where they would've had to foul. On to game 5. |
