The Nuggets are HOT right now, having won 7 of their last 8 since Billups arrived -- including a back-to-back win IN BOSTON!
We, on the other hand, had a big let down (vs. Detroit) after our last big road win (@New Orleans).
Last night was a big road win for us but after losing 7 straight to the Lakers Denver wins tonight, I'm afraid.
Lakers dominate tonight to win by 16. _________________ "After watching Bryant and Cooper go at it for about 10 minutes West stood up, nodded at two team public-relations men he'd brought with him, and snapped, 'That's it, let's get out of here, I've seen enough. our bigs will kill denver. Even if denver busts a detroit pistons on us and shoots lights out, they still dont have the defense to stop our offense. And our starters got a lot of rest last night as well so we should be good.
I agree our bigs should control this game. Unless Kmart has the shooting game of his life his lack of size should cause him great frustration as the game wear's on. Billups is tough but not speedy we should be able to contain him somewhat. And of course Kobe is gonna do his thing.

Denver might not be able to stop our bigs, but our guards sure as hell might, especially if we're in for another installment of the selFish show.
That's where all this depth comes so in handy, starters not gassed playing the Suns, bench has a bunch of experienced players, lots of guys getting 20 minutes a night. Look for Pau to play much better tonight, it will be interesting to see how Vlade plays tonight after last nights great game from him.

Tough matchup. Billups changes everything for Denver, offensively and defensively, plus he' always comes up big against LA. This is a very loseable game, if we don't bring it on both ends.
That being said, I think LA knows this, and I expect a crisp game from them, with a big performance by Drew. LA by 9. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel
It seems that the past few games at Staples teams come in and hit every jumper and prayer that they put up. If that continues tonight it will be a long battle.

So did the guy he replaced.
So does any semi-talented player who has the good fortune of playing against The Anti-Guard.

I'm going tonight, hopefully it will be an entertaining game and not a blowout until the 4th quarter. And I hope it's not over-reffed like the bulls game was, that game was boring because there were fouls being called every time down the floor. _________________ The only thing standing between me and greatness, is me.

Phoenix contained him well.
This is a diff Nuggets team. Should be a very good game... Nuggets with Billups -- and a healthy Nene -- are top tier.
Karl knows a thing or two about how to utilize a defending point. This isn't the same Nuggets team.
I like that strategy: If a pg scores a lot, Fish played bad defense, if they don't, their own team contained them _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel
Should be very interesting. Even though this is a better Nuggets team, a Nuggets team that beat the Celtics at Boston, I don't think they can beat us unless we have a bad night on both ends of the court. This is not a team that can beat us at our best. _________________ Repeat Champs Baby!!!
