Drew: 8-12 FG, 21pts 11 rebs

Fisher: 3-13
Kobe - 5-20
Artest - 8-16

WTF? Drew was the best in the court today, he was the only who create shots, the only who has been efective, and he´s the one who shoots less in the lineup?(excluding Lamar, or the one who were on his body).

C´mon, open your eyes for god sake...

This loss rests solely on Kobe and Fisher's shoulders as they shot a dismal combined 8-33. That's 24%!

+1

They killed us from the beginning! Everyone else had good and mediocre games.

Sucks to pile on the losses early on this weaker home heavy schedule. Homecourt probably will be the deciding factor once again this year. Gasol really screwed us by not making back to back NBA championships his number one priority, but I doubt he could have stopped Kobe and Fisher from forcing the issue and building a brick mansion. Damn, Denver was at least a top team an on a back to back--but this is a scrub Rockets team in LA.

Fisher isn't far from the kind of player that can consistently have terrible nights like this, but I really think Kobe was just riding a hot shooting streak to start the year and now has turned ice cold. He's not going to be this bad forever (but we'll probably lose most of the games he continues like this without Gasol), I just don't think he'll be at the level he was early on for the most part. His jumper has always been pretty streaky.

Well, there goes the Sunday white winning streak. This team is lost and it's amazing on how fast it happened after they were looking very impressive a few games back. You can't say they were tired in this one. Once their shots don't go in, their energy and confidence drops and that's all she wrote.

Abysmal. Phil needs to have that statistic plastered all over the locker room.

And Lamar had the nerve to hold out for more money!

Two piss poor games in a row! They're starting to look like SC! Same record. Same effort!

Houston didn't even shoot that well--41%. One of the bigger misconceptions is that we ever have "enough offense". There's never enough efficient offense.

Drew had 5 blocked shots, too. What a waste of a good game.

Why this team continued to launch jump shots in the 2nd half is beyond me. This team can be so dumb sometimes, it's ridiculous.

I was right, Kobe has a strained groin 2 games ago against Phoenix. That's why he's looked like crap.

60-32 in Rebounds. Lakers should be ashamed of themselves. They better improve mighty quick here.

12 shots for Drew. Unacceptable. They should just spend half of the next practice doing entry passes.

LO's playing like a guy who took a cut in pay. he doesn't have the pressure to play hard and well, so there is nothing to drive him on.

If Farmar is wondering why we didn't re-sign him, he need not look farther than this one play where Bynum sealed his man who was fronting him, not once but twice for an easy alley oop pass which Farmar refused to make!

Don't remind me--I hate when he disappears over long stretches like this. I think he can be a valuable contributor when Gasol is around and when the team is in synch, but I think he's another one of those guys that falls into the overpaid list given his production level. You can't really expect him to start scoring when we need points, or really create or post up consistently, or take the lead at any real point in time. For as much as he's getting paid you'd hope he could bring some of these skills, yet the guy just mentally checks out way too often.

Which is when you pull back, play some decoy, and give the ball to your teammates that are scoring.
