one play people dont remember is during the 2004 WCF. it was game 6, and we were about to eliminate the t-wolves (which we did)
with 3-4 mins left in the game, the t-wolves went to a "hack-a-shaq" defense. so on one play mark madsen (with dan crawford literally right next to him) was holding and intentially fouling shaq. he even screamed at crawford and said "im fouling him! call the foul!" and crawford gave him this look. about 10 secs later, he made the foul call. both shaq and madsen had confused looks on their faces as to why it took so long for him to call an intentional foul when he was looking right at the play. |

Refs shouldn't have these kinds of egos; we shouldn't know refs names, we shouldn't even know their faces. They should even try pointing the cameras to them less and we might see this kind of douchebag leave the NBA _________________ "It was tough," Kobe Bryant said. Um, I hope they put the start of the Laker game on TBS or something, because this Cavs/Bulls game isn't even close to over.
7 minutes left in the 3rd q, and it's already 7:00. Wow. |

It's going to be interesting to see how much ball movement there will be tonight without Kobe _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

This game means little as far as standings go. It will show what we're made of, no Andrew, or Kobe _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

It's gonna show how we have no bench, sadly. _________________

I think we'll see more ball movement. I've always felt the team is to reliant on Kobe. Without him I'm anxious to see who runs the team. Tonight Jordan has his chance to show what he can do. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

I remember that clearly. All playoff long to that point, the refs had let the Lakers play phsyical. Actually, all the teams were allowed to play physically, ti was great. Then, all of a sudden, in the last couple of those Minnesota games, the refs started whistling the Lakers for EVERYTHING. And it continued throughout the Finals with Detroit. Something happened there. I remember in Game 6 of Minnesota, I think every single starting Laker was in foul trouble by halftime. Like, 4 fouls each foul trouble. |
