Obviously its not a huge indicator since its just the first round and you play the same team, but Lakers lead the NBA playoffs in defensive field goal percentage.
Nice to see. I rather be great on defense and need to pick it up on offense then being great at offense and needing to pick it up on defense like the those Suns teams that could never win it all. Obviously I rather be great at both but it is what it is. |

What a great win. This was the exact way I wanted this Laker team to respond to that embarrassment in game 4 and boy did they really pull it off. It's great to see that they still have it in them. It's been a long time too. Can't remember the last time they blew a team out. Maybe that Pacers game.
I hope they won't pull that same crap from last year in the Houston series. If I was Phil, I'd show them the tape of that game just to remind them not to come out like that again. _________________ Repeat Champs Baby!!! |

All right, guys...I know the game is well over and all. Still, we're only 5 away from having the game thread run to 100 pages!

What are you laughing about?
All of us "conspiracy theorists" all but guaranteed we'd get the free throw edge at home.
