Why not? As long as it's a repeat of the Houston series that means we win in the end. _________________ |

I mean I don't want the series extended to 7 games. That doesn't give the Black Mamba enough time to recharge. |

We can't go to 7 games unless the Magic pull off history. We -cannot- go to 7 games. It will put us at a disadvantage to the point where HCA means nothing. |

Wouldn't surprise me at all. I can see it going to 7 easily. Lakers gameplan is to play no defense. |

Rest of the Lakers are falling into the Suns trap of engaging into a 3 point shootout for the entire game. Lakers will never win those. They have to use their advantages of being taller to their advantage. Not to mention a little bit of defense and some sort of effort to rebound would be nice. |

Why? The Finals don't start til the 3rd and Game 7 would be played on the 31st. |

Well Amare didn't quite go off like Game 3 (though Laker bigs sure bent over and took it from him) but game kind of went like I expected. Lakers just didn't display the skill or effort they needed to win a game like this. |

Well the Suns did go to the line 32 time and made 22 of them. If you take away a majority of the Suns free throws, then what you have is the Lakers winning 4-0. The only way the Suns stay in is because of all the free throws. |

As long as there are no 4-0 sweeps and the games go at least 6 games, that will please Stern. |

Nope. Who would've guessed the Lakers are taking this long to solve one of the most elementary defenses in basketball? |

No idea what the math is. I'm just saying nobody would've guessed it's taking this long for the Lakers to solve a gimmick defense, so it's not unreasonable to think the Lakers should've wrapped this up in 5. |

Because Boston is in prime position to end the series with Orlando. Boston kind of has a similar situation with the Lakers where they're older, so if Boston gets more rest than the Lakers, and the fact that they've been phenomenal on the road (They did not have HCA against the Cavs or Orlando) to start a series, it could be bad. |
