Bynum showed terrific defense on Garnett. He shut Garnett down.
Garnett could only score when Odom was guarding him. Bynum owns
Garnett defensively.
God willing - let this kid heal! |

This was an ugly, physical, low-scoring game, lots of whistles again, Kobe shoots 10-29, we are forced to look for shots in the last 10 seconds of the shot clock, and we won. In Boston of all places.
This was the kind of game many wondered if we could win in the playoffs. And we just won a very pivotal one. This should show all those haters that we're not a soft team that wilts under pressure. Great teams win ugly games on the road like this when needed. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

Ironically, this suits the Lakers defense best. We leveraged our size so well for about 2.5 quarters. |

Bynum and Gasol don't fit the closing strategy.
The Lakers like to switch everything and they look to space out the floor for the guards on O.
We saw in Game 2 that without LO closing the Lakers lost the game. The only reason LO wasn't closing is his suckage up until today.
And LO made a couple huge plays down the stretch. Phil brought them up in his post game interview.
As for Drew, the guy is a beast. He defended extremely well and finished around the rim. For all the talk about how important it would be to have Ron, I feel the biggest difference in 08 and 10 is having a real Center like Drew. |

We didn't even score to 100. Based on the Celtics performance this postseason, we weren't supposed to win this game. |

Not exact but close,I didn't predict game 2 on here. I will let you know about game 4!! And I put money on both games
GAME1
Quote: | Lakers 94
Celtics 86
Close 1st quarter
A 5-6 point lead going into half time
3rd quarter a double digit lead
4th quarter Celts run out of gas |
GAME 3
Quote: | I predicted game 1's momentum precisely, I couldn't predict game 2 because something told me we would lose, here is my prediction for game 3:
Lakers come out and take a solid 5-6 lead in the 1st, the game shifts up and down but Lakers take a solid 8-10 point lead by half time. 3rd quarter they start losing the lead, by the 4th the lead is gone and it's close. The lakers pull away in the final minute of the game.
Get your antacid ready, thats the prediction!! |

I hope the Lakers finish this in Boston. I'd really like to see that clip of Pierce's played over and over again everytime I watch the replay of the series. |

Fish picked us up, like I said he would.
The Lakers played a horrendous 2nd half and still pulled it out. _________________ The Lakers will never win an NBA Championship with Mike Brown as HC |

Any word on Bynum?
Unfortunately, those type of injuries always get worse the 48 hours later.
We need him. _________________ The Lakers will never win an NBA Championship with Mike Brown as HC |
