Let's hope Fisher can stay around a little longer and provide more clutch plays like he did all playoffs long. His 3-pointer to tie the game pretty much sealed the Celtics' fate. You just knew now that it was all even that the Lakers would turn it up a notch. They played as flawless as you can play. Only setback that could have been avoided after that shot was probably Odom leaving Allen open. That ending felt just like Lakers-Blazers game 7.
This was the toughest game ever. This was worse than the Portland game 7 in 2000. I dont know how we did it. It was like Rocky taking all the shots from Drago and and then coming back for the knockout in the end. Even up til the end, I didnt think we were going to win. I dont even feel like celebrating. Im emitonally drained. I feel like cryinig like Gasol. _________________
Thank you so much Lakers and Lakersground.net. Amazing finish this season, Kobe leaned on his teammates and they more than held him up. Props especially to Ron Ron.
We played like crap for 40 minutes. Kobe should take the MVP trohpy and cut it into 6 pieces. Im still in shock that we won. Down by 13. Kobe cant buy a shot going 6-24. _________________
Most nervous night of the season, last time I felt like this was back in 08 but this outcome is so much better and to win it in 7 and at home is alot better then winning it on the road.
And we can't forget the band
Sorry for the emotions, just enjoying this moment too much. _________________ "This is a comptitive city. We're used to winning titles, not just winning games and being in the first round. We want to win championships. Now's the time.", "do something, and do it now."
