D.J. Strawberry is also on the Lakers' summer league roster according to nbadraft.net
Hmm ... I think there was some interest in him on this board a year or 2 ago.
Strawberry and Tyler Sanborn have been added to the list. I believe there was interest around the league in Strawberry because he looked like he could develop into a solid nba defender. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest
Tyler Sanborn seems like a guy to keep an eye on. Absolutely dominated at Guilford, and his team went 104-19 in his 4 years there. Knows how to win. _________________ "It's a challenge, nobody said it was gonna be easy"- Kobe Bryant
Ben McCauley will also return for another stint on the Lakers SL squad:

McCauley is playing in the Pittsburgh Basketball Club Pro-Am for the next two weeks before heading back to Las Vegas for another summer-league season with the NBA champion Lakers.
Sanborn looks fluid and can score on the block. The footwork looks good for a DIII though his repertoire is very limited. He doesn't have the size to play pivot in the NBA and I didn't see any evidence of him being able to operate from the high post. Athleticism is decent, strength looks very good, soft hands, nose for the ball, and knows how to use the backboard. He has an active motor. Though the video shows lots of shot blocking, I am not convinced that will translate on the NBA level. His wingspan looks nice though.
It's tough to stick as a 6'9" center in the NBA, unless you have a massive body (Sanborn does not). He has the size to potentially make a roster (someday) as a PF, though he'll probably be overmatched by the quick pogo sticks. I'd like to see if he has a face up game and I'd like to see if he can handle the ball driving to the basket, preferably with a defender on his hip. _________________ We are stardust

I agree with everything you said. We are going to see alot of what he can do this summer. I like the way he finishes, he seems to like to dunk which is a great thing. I think the Lakers will have 5 slots to fill after they sign D Fish. I think 3 will come from summer camp and 2 will come from free agency. Of course that could reverse , but we will see...

Ebanks, Character, and Critt should make this team from summer camp, unless you are putting Critt in the free agency category. _________________ "It's a challenge, nobody said it was gonna be easy"- Kobe Bryant
