Hey guys. I'm new here and wanted to see if anyone knew anything about this figure of Kobe. I came across it on ebay, and wanted to know if it's legit. And would anyone know what the going price would be? I want to bid on it, but don't know if it's worth it. Any input would be much appreciated.

i saw that figurine a llooong time ago...but im more familiar with the todd mcfarlane figurines which go for way more money, specially the kobe with the four trophies...this year the figure will have five of course and will be worth a lot...last years was a high as $1500 on ebay and other spots _________________ RIP.....Pop (AJ Sr.) 7/09/23-01/20/09
Thanks for 35 years of love, sacrifice and joy...also for taking me to all the lakers games at the GW forum as a youngster and helping me understand the joy that comes from watching a lakers game |

No idea dude. I have never seen that before. Have you checked out the vinyls or the McFarlane figures? You know those are legit. In fact I have some of the rarer ones myself. |

Yeah, I've never seen it before either. I'm a big collector of Kobe figures and memorabilia, but I haven't come across this figure yet. It's pretty cool. I mean, HOT TOYS is legit, so who knows. I've done a google search and turned up nothing so far |

SPAM! Ha ha. Yeah, I guess it could look like that. But no, I'm serious. I just wanted to find out if anyone knew anything about this thing before I placed a bid. I just wanted some peace of mind. |

I say you buy it, bid like $300 so no one else wins the doll _________________ "Joe Bryant may never be great, but is happy. Kobe may never be happy, but is great." - -at- SInow |

that figure was a limited edition released to coincide with the Adidas Kobe II back in 02. They were limited and then cost about $100 - $200. |

Cool. Thanks alot for that answer. Now I have more info so that I can do more research. If anyone else knows any more about this figure, or have some kind of a link to save me some research, I would really appreciate it. |

It looks more like Eddie Murphy than Kobe. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Yeah, he kind of does. It's still a pretty cool collectible. I remember Kobe looking somewhat like this back then. Just not as dark. Ha ha |
