I enjoyed listening to them, and it was interesting seeing them throw graphics up of offensive and defensive efficiency plus avg scoring margin under the heading of something like "No Reason to Worry", giving a good argument that this team is a as good as it was last year.
The downside - a link so laggy and filled with ads I had to go to the box score half the time just to find out what was happening. |

I agree with the posters who commented that it felt at times like a Laker broadcast. Such a huge difference from here in the Portland area, where the announcers avoid objectivity like the plague. |

Why is it a good thing for the other announcers to praise the Lakers.. but when Stu or Joel are praising the other team - all of a sudden it's blasphemy? |

Just got back from the game.
Awesome ...to see the Lakers win it (although low scoring affair). Best part of the night. PICS.... more to come and winning the signed authographed picture of BLACK MAMBA and LBJ.
Pics of the game to come....
For those who were at the game. We were sitting near the Tpups bench and the media table. |

Thanks for exempting us, because I like it when our announcers praise the other team when they are playing well, working harder than the Lakers or when a guy from the other team makes a great play.
THat was always one of my favorite things about Chick- he was no homer. He was always ready to give the Lakers the business when they were playing badly and always ready to praise good play by the other team.
I hate homer announcers, who are the direct opposite of Chick. |
