Another win, another Boston loss! |
Spurs lose too and Pau raises 52K (combined w/Magic's matching funds) for Japan relief. Pretty good night I'd say!!! |
5-5 for the Spurs without Duncan - possible. 10-0 for the Lakers? Could happen! Lakers are making ground up quickly right now.
Kudos to Pau and Magic as well. |

My only peeve is the second unit. At the very least they should have maintained the 10-11 point lead. Drew looked good with another quiet yet solid performance. Ron Ron's just clutch defensive play at the end. I'm hoping Fish is getting all these misses out of the way so he hits them all in the postseason.
Not really an ugly win in my mind. Hiccups in the second half, but they'll rectify them. |

Not really shocked how close the Portland game was, but the other 3 really felt a lot closer than they should've been. But they do just enough down the stretch to get the W, and until that stops working for them, I don't see much reason to complain. |
Easing off the clutch a lil bit. _________________ *sighs*

Not overly impressive in these home wins, but at least we're pulling them out. |

Yep, expending least about of energy. However, I bet ya they bring it bigtime to the Dallas game. |

Yeah I wasn't thrilled with the B's - any of them this game. Starters plus Odom all had really solid games I thought. Not a bad game by Fish if it weren't for the FTs. Defense kinda sucked though, Clips seemed to get a lot in transition plus some mid-range jumpers.
Still the B's never made it out of the hive tonight. I'm most surprised that Barnes didn't find a way to turn it around, he usually does. Here's hoping they wake up Sunday.
At least Walton stayed on the bench. - Brilliant game by PJ! |

I bet you'd complain if any other teams like Heat, Boston, Spurs gets that amount of FT attempts. |
Well they do, regularly, and if Lakers did too nobody would be complaining. |
Beside, Gasol, Bynum,Odom, and sometimes Kobe, no one else on the Lakers can attack the rim aggressive enough to convince the refs. LAL may not get enough FT calls, but they do gets away with few other calls such flopping in their favor. It's all about being aggressive and doing your best acting job to convince the refs. Derek Fisher doesn't get enough FT calls, but he's one of the best actors at selling offensive fouls in the NBA.

True, but earlier in the season the Lakers would have lost to scrub teams like Phoenix and the Clippers. Oh wait, they already did once to Phoenix. |

My favorite part of the game was Bynum trying to get to Kaman after he told Fisher ill meet you outside. He didn't waste any time either he was right there.

52-20. Suck it, Kaman. _________________ "After watching Bryant and Cooper go at it for about 10 minutes West stood up, nodded at two team public-relations men he'd brought with him, and snapped, 'That's it, let's get out of here, I've seen enough. He's better than anyone on our team.'" |

It's about time Kobe is getting some love shown at the free throw line 28 FT 's in the last 2 games. refs must think that Lebronze plays for the Lakers now |

So does anyone have the "real" story about the Fish/Kaman incident? What really happened? Kaman had to be upset for more than just that pick... which was very questionable....
Thoughts? Perspectives? |
