Fellow fans, I am a long time follower of this forum. I have really enjoyed reading many of your posts and I regularly follow along on the GDTs during games.
I felt the need to signup just to voice a few words. Simply put, stay positive and believe in your Lakers. I know it's difficult and gut wrenching at times to be a Lakers fan, but they will come through. Contrary to the media opinion, this team does have heart and the will to fight.
Check out one of my favorite youtube clips if you need to tide yourself over with something until tomorrow night:

Go Lakers!
Great first post! Loved the video clip! _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
Is game 5 the most important game of Kobe Bryant's career?
No. Kobe Bryant has proven himself time and time again. Now is for the time for Pau to let his nuts hang low. _________________ The killer in me is the killer in you!

Lakers 106 - 98 NOH
Kobe 12-28 fgs for 32 pts 4 rebs and 3 ast.
Gasol - 7-17 fg for 19pts 8 rebs and 6 ast. _________________ "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."
Please rebound the ball. Game 4 just made be . I mean, Chris Paul outrebounded all Laker players.
That a 6 foot guard hustled more than THREE TIMES the rebounds of a seven foot power forward should have shamed Gasol. The guy doesn't hustle. He just relies on his height.
Yes, he is talented, but yes, he is soft. The guy just doesn't like bumping and bruising for position. This is the NBA!
very anxious today for the game. I know we got game 5 in the bag but there is always that "what if" factor. Cant wait for game time to come!
The more people who proclaim that the Lakers have a game in the bag, the more likely someone important on the Lakers (e.g. Gasol) will believe it and slack off, and the more likely they lose. Happened before the first game. Happened before the Miami game. Happened before the Cleveland (second) game. Happens far too many freakin times.

tonight we gotta win this one..we are playing on homecourt. we are playing in LA. we have to bring our best defense play out and we gotta make execution play and we gotta bring that 3rd win in this series cause if the hornets steal another one 2night @ staples then this series could turn in2 a nightmare, which in my opinion already is, but if we win this tonight then im sure we ll win the game @new orleans on thursday
im just a bit concerned about kobe bryant, because i dont know how much his ankle will effect 2nights game. and im also concerned about odom and gasol..i mean odom has 2 step out more as he did in game 2 and pau has 2 bring some efficency under the basket...we just got 2 focus my friends!
It's all on Pau and Bynum this game. If Kobe is really hurt, the most he can do is be a decoy. Those two have to carry the team on both ends. LO's gonna be like a coin flip.
