What they say for LeBron? "Clutch player and deciding factor on the outcome of the game. Aside from 21 clean attempts, he had 2 assists to go along with it." |

Folks,
KB will NEVER get a fair shake from ESPN. Get over it.
BTW, why are you watching ESPN anyway?

the only AS game in recent memory where Kobe was looking to score was in philly and even there I believe they were setting him up for the MVP like they did with T-Mac.
Kobe usually plays pretty chill in ASGs, 'cept near the end |

I guess they failed to notice that he also had 7 rebounds and 8 assists - more assists than any other player in the game, I might add - along with 3 steals. Dude almost has a tripple double and they have to hate on the man.
Sad. |

LOL..this is the same analysis that gave Lebron an A+ for his game clinching block on T-Mac. Didn't Lebron even admit he got T-Mac's elbow? _________________ Please jump off the bandwagon while you can. |

He would have EASILY HAD the triple dip had Avery Johnson's moronic ass hadn't given everyone "equal minutes". Give the starters more minutes. The 5 coaches votes 2nd tier minutes, and the other 2 guys should get 5-10.
Boring All-Star game to say the least. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. He guards people, like shuts 'em down. Then, to do 'dat on 'da offensive end. It's like 'Damn, I can't score on him AND he about to bust my ass." |

Yeah. Why the hell did he take Kobe out for big portions of the game? Give the fans what they want to see. _________________ "In essence, the trade was: Shaq, Rick Fox and Gary Payton for Odom, Kwame, Mihm, Profit, 2nd round picks, a 1st round pick and 30 million in luxury tax saviings." - LakerJam

Come on, Lebron could have knifed T-Mac in the face and the league would have called it MVP type defense. Interesting that Kobe Bryant had 5 FOULS in an all-star game. 5 FOULS! |

He was playing hard on D, I don't think they were bad calls, it was more that he was most aggresive. _________________ Why do people think they're "entitled" to information. This is a message board not a ouija board..... |

Come on, calling 5 fouls in a guy in an all-star game? Give me a break. |

And being aggressive is Detroit's M.O., yet they seem to get away with it. |

That would be because T-Mac isn't a closer and that Avery coached to lose.
The lineups he played were pathetic. |

well it was pretty obvious they were trying to give the MVP to T-Mac so Kobe just couldn't be the dominating self w/out allowing himself to outshine. |

Toward the end I was getting sick of the Tmac show, he took a couple of dumb shots. And no one on the west could hit threes, it reminded me of a Laker game. Aside from that it was nice not to stress over the Laker games this weekend. |

ESPN criticizes Kobe for breathing and taking up too much air. He's their bad guy and I just don't see it changing... |
