Went with the Lakers over Rockets, but this game's going to be tough. Blazers look solid this year and it's at the Rose Garden. They also just came off a victory in OKC.
Rooting for the Lakers, but the Blazers will likely pull it off. |

Great test game. Blazers have been red hot to start the season, and Aldridge is an insanely tough cover. Andrew outweighs Camby by a significant margin so he should be able to dominate him, something we need to take advantage of. |

Need Kobe to be in the right spots, around the Malone area and Pau to somehow find his confidence.
Most important, Drew needs to dominate whatever center is covering him, from Camby to Ald.
I fear for Fisher because Felton is going to have an easy double double.
The wing positions are up in the air but having Crash gives them a slight edge over the much slower World Peace. At least Barnes is there to intimidate. |

then, they're taking this game. remind me when was the last time Gasol came out on top matching up with an all star PF? but personally, i think Gasol rather face Aldridge than Chuck Hayes or Carl Landry, lol. |

Tough game regardless who's on Laker roster. I'll be happy if we are not blown out. _________________ Back to Back Yeah, Yeah...and you know that!

LA wins. In control from the beginning to the end with Portland giving a slight scare to start the fourth. Kobe goes mamba and Bynum goes Kraken on these mofos. Gasol gets schooled by Aldridge. |

depends how kobe plays. if he plays stupid ball and chucks it 25 times, with the majority of the shots being jumpshots, then we're screwed and will get blown out
if he feeds the bigs and gets his points later, we'll be fine |

We beat them at the Rose Garden each of last two seasons, so perhaps the curse is coming to an end. |

I'll be at this game. I really hope the Lakers can win it because the Blazer fans always give me a ton of (bleep) for my Lakers gear I'm wearing, so it makes it that much sweeter if the Lakers get the W.
But it's gonna be a tough game. I think the pace is important, a fast pace game would heavily favor Portland, while a slower pace game would favor the Lakers. When Portland starts running and gets a ton of fast breaks, the Lakers are awful at stopping them. Need to slow the pace down and focus on defense here, gonna be tough but go Lakers! really hope they can win it, Kobe often has big games in Portland. |
